Remarks

Teaching faculty is good. All teachers are helpful. Equipments and laboratory facilities are nearly good although some equipments are unavailable. Apart from teaching staff other staff members such as examination department student section are not much helpful. Results display is delayed every year.

Result is given in pointer system out of 10.

Alumni working on Higher position are invited for speech 2-3 times a year. One of alumni persuing MS in United States helped me with procedure of admission in foreign University. CDC is Bridges between Alumni and students.

Admission

I got admission based on my JEE score. I wanted to join Mechanical engineering. In this college mechanical engineering faculty is best since 13 are PhD faculties. After JEE results were out I registered for DTE website and filled my prefered colleges and in CAP round 1 I got this college. After that I took admission in the college.

Faculty

5

Faculty are very good. 75% attendance is compulsory and lectures are conducted regularly. Faculties are friendly and helpful. Practicals are also conducted regularly and properly. Since for mechanical engineering most of the faculties are PhD all the doubts during lectures are cleared and we get thorough knowledge of subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
