Course Curriculum Overview

Being an ETC student definitely I must say this is a golden and ever green subject in engineering career as a lot of scope for growth and new invention for this growing country.ETC is very much chilled subject you people will enjoy this chapter

Placement Experience

College has arranged ON campus as well as the OFF campus.No college doesn't provide any internship.Campuses includes Infosys,L&T IES,and many other small IT companies.The package ranges from 250000 to 500000

College Events

Tech-fest observed on each year along with the annual function.All the 4. Years students do participate in annual function.The total population of the festival will be around 1000 where fooding system is also arranged along with R&R

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure.As in my time amount was 60000/year.Now it has increased to 90000/ year.The above amount is excluded from hostel fee and transportation fee. Semester exam fees were separately collected

Fees and Financial Aid

Na no such facilities are available on college so no idea about the scholarship.Loans facilities was also not available in college how ever to pursuing study we can take loan from bank.Study was facilitated by other banks

Campus Life

Labs are best with best lab assistant and lab faculty.In college there were 60% boys and 40% girls in the college.we generally prepare a annual sports for the 4 years students and the winner are felicitated in the annual function

Hostel Facilities

Hostel I have not opted as I belong from localite.but I have fare idea about hostel.Hostel amount was 40000/year which includes fooding staying and outing.Hostel were of 2- Sharing.Ladies and Gents hostels are of different.Hostel is present inside the college

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are very helpful. Although no such physical contact but we are connected thourough WhatsApp group and Facebook group.Theu also help in searching jobs as they provide references.Also they help in study materials and exam preparation

Admission

OJE entrance then merit basis counciling.OJEE is similar to AIEEE but this is of state level basis.After counciling conducted by OPECA admission proces carry forward.During counciling we need to choose the specialisation subject.

Faculty

Faculty are best and we'll supportive.They are well and required qualified.They help in understanding the course by giving live examples also in lab.Fir an engineer the practical knowledge is much needed for which our faculty are there always

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

Actually I applied RIMS college for BBA and also I get selected for admission and I was in my journey of +3 science in zoology department, I got admission in modern degree college, Sonepur but one of my brother recommended me to this collage because of its course and govt scholarship aids soo i choosed over that i don't get rejected by any colleges but definately i had a dream of being enrolled in a professional degree that why I joined in kist Admission process I enter as a integrated student soo I don't have to clear ojee or gate soo i just go through document verification process and i got admission For MBA : ojee/cat/mat or simply you can directly contact to adminstrative department. For btech; ojee is important to enroll .
