Remarks

Postive remarks is that our college is extremely good in every manner. However, the bad thing is the bad politics pslyed by some of the students here which harm the normal simple students in the college.

I am doing bba from here. It is one of the best college for doing bba. The crowd and teachers here are very corporative. The exams make us realize the importance of different subjects which can be used in our daily life's.

Placement Experience

Placement of our college is very good. Our colelge provide placement to the students in biggest multinational companies which helps them to grow and develop better. Our college also provide internship in different coarses.

Ggdsd fest is the biggest fear perform in our college in this, different departments partcipiate and the students enjoy the most. The other panjab university collegres are also given entry in this festpf our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college has feasible structure. The fees is not expensive and a middle class's family person can easily afford it. It helps in saving a huge amount for the postgraduation in any othercollege if a students wants to do it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for weaker section and foreign student to help them to study further otherwise it is not easy for them them to do it. This is rhe best best part of our college which is to help the students.

The extracurricale activities are good in our college all the students are required to participate in any one of them so that they can enjoy their college life with some practical knowledge other wise bookish knowledge is not sufficient.

Yes they all are helpful. They have studied in a helpful environmento so in return they also wants to helps the upcoming students in the college which is the best part of our college. All the panjab university College are same like this.

Admission

After passing 12th examination, I apply in panjab university to get admission and then according to the merit list, I was alloted with ggdsd college. Ggdsd college stands for ganesh dutta sanatani dharam college.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is very corporative. All the teachers are always there to help you in any matter related to the education. They are friendly in nature and always there for us whenver we wanted them.

About college placement, there is a placement cell which provides the information about the companies in 5th sem. We have to fill a form where we agree to join the placement cell opportunity when companies arrive. As so many big companies arrive the chances of success is less. But if you give your best you will definitely get selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance of course is all theory but if we talk of it for real world it's not much that. Course should be more focused towards skill builder and not reading only. No practical hand experience over computer applications that are actually needed like excel advance or formulas. BBA generally offers various specialisation in the last year but they only have HR and if anybody wants to go for other options like marketing or finance which are basic for all they try to get them enrolled in HR ONLY. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO BRING MARKETING OR FINANCE FACULTY FOR STUDENTS.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
