Remarks

The college have only one court which is used for all the sports such as volleyball, throw ball, kabbadi, kho kho and others. The playground is very small. Also the college campus is very small when compared to other top colleges in Bangalore. The parking lot in the college is not very well maintained. It will get fully dust when vehicle is parked for 1 hour. And there is not enough space for all the students to park the vehicle. No car is allowed for the students to park inside the college only the faculty is allowed to park inside. If any student bring the car they have to park the car in the roadside where there is a chances it can get towed by the police.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am studying telecommunication engineering the syllabus which is in telecommunication is almost same of electronic and communication and the course curriculum consist of 8 semester, each semester consist of 3 internals exam and 1 externals exam for both practical Lab and theoretical subjects. Internals exam will be an average of two for 20marks and externals will be for 80 marks. The internal exam were held every month, but after the last internals we don't get much study holiday for external exams, which would make really tough to study for the external exams

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement in K.S.I.T are very good. They provide placement training to crack the interviews. Companies like tech Mahindra, Amazon, juspay, Infosys and others held the placement offers in this college. Also K.S.I.T provide the internship to the students who are interested to join and they do not provide any stipends for the internship and they provide only the certificates.

College Events

3

In our college we have many events every semester, main event is Ananya which is the interdepartmental fest where all the students of every department take part in that. Also all the department will held the technical fest and technical events for all the department. The students make a cultural committee to handle this all the events where students from all the department have to take part in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for merit seat is feasible but the fee structure for management seat is very costly. The fee structure differ for different departments. For telecommunication the fee structure is the lowest for computer science the fee structure is the Highest.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far they do not provide any loan facility except for the students belongs to their kammavari community and the government provides the scholarship to the students whose parents have less income. But the college doesn't give the sanctioned scholarship amout to the students. For sc/st students the government provides full scholarship.

Campus Life

3

The labs in the college are very clean and maintained very well for the experiment. Some of the lab still uses the older equipment for the experiment. The sports day will be held once in a year where all the students take part to win the championship. also the sports director help us to take part in the sports such as baseball, softball, swimming, athletic etc in university level. There is no ragging in the campus as the cameras are every corner which is monitored they will take strict action immediately if any ragging case occours. The seniors are very friendly which makes us ease in the college premise.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel are not in the college premise. The hostel in far from the college, the girls hostle is about 5kms away from the college and the boys hostel is about 9kms away from the hostel. They provide bus facility for the students in the hostel. The rooms are of average. The meals are provided in the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very friendly where they help us in the studies and other seminars. The alumni also provide the technical talk about the upcoming technology, placement, how to crack the interviews which would help us in the interviews.

Admission

I had to write CET exam to get the merit seat. I had got good ranking in sports quota in CET and got the seat in K.S.I.T, since it was in top 10 college in Bangalore I choose to join this college. After getting selected to this college we have to submit out marks card of 10th and 2nd pu to get admission.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty in the K.S.I.T are very professional when it comes to studies. But also very friendly, they help us to get through the projects and seminars. Thy would help us to understand about the topic in both practical and theoretical way for better understanding of the subject which help us to remember for exams.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
