Try a different college before coming here

As I said earlier, The principal and the director have implied school - like rules for students. A student needs to have more than 75% attendance in individual subjects rather than average attendance. They are forcing students to give extra exams.

The Course is outdated as the course id decided by Mumbai University. The college makes students appear for various additional exams which are irrelevant which makes the student life much more difficult.

The college placements are quite good. A mass recruiter company also visits the college every year. About internship, we didn't had any but I heard from my juniors that the college is making internship compulsory for the students which is good and can help the students gain industry experience.

There are various fests held in our college. Ignitra is our sports festival where students from different colleges compete in various sports. IRIS is our main college fest where many activities and DJ parties are held. Our college also celebrates various days like traditional day, goth day, twin day, etc.

The fee structure is quite feasible when you compare to other colleges. Also the fees don't increase by much every year. During our time, it incremeted by 4000 - 5000 rs every year which is less when compared to other colleges.

There are various fee waiver schemes available in the college. There is reduction in fees for the economically backward students. Also there is a scholarship available for toppers and they also get various benefits like getting additional books in library.

The gender ratio is approximately 30 girls per 70 boys. The labs are quite good even though the equipments are quite old. There are various committees in college that help the students to gain extra curricular skills.

As I this college was near my home, I opted to apply for it. I got admission in this college based on my cumulative score of JEE and HSC marks. I took EXTC as the cutoff for other courses was quite high.

The teaches are qualified to teach the subject. Many of the teachers have even completed their PHDs. But the main problem lies in the Principal and Director of this college. They don't listen to the students requests and all they care about is getting good results.
