BITS GOA

College is quite good nothing bad about it. The only thing is about fee this is very expensive.

Evaluation is continuous type this is the best things that forces you to be you date. Professors use slides to explain with projector, They your those slides in our college website. these slides will be very helpful during our preparation. All first year students will have same syllabus, they will focus on core from second year.

We do have 2 interns, we call those as practise schools which are mandatory. These practise schools are very useful. I think placements in our university are quite good.

We do have 3 fests a year one cultural fest called waves, one technical fest called quark, one sports fest called spree. All these fests happen in large scale on average footcount during our fest is 6000 many great artists like amit trivedi, good bands like local train will be coming during our fest. The most important thing is that all our fests are student controlled.

I feel for a middle class family free is too high. Fees will be increasing day by day and for our batch it is around 5.5 lakh rupees this year. I think we should pay them online May be they also accept liquid cash I'm not sure. Also whole fee should be payed before the start of the semester.

I took education loan. There will be a sbi Bank in our college you should open an account there and can take loan from it. Also, there is something called as Mcn in our college they pay fee ti those merit students who have need for this they ask IT returns of your parents

Gender ratio here is very low 1:10 (girls: boys). This is the main drawback. Labs have very good equipment here. There are facilities for almost all sorts of sports and games here. In technical fest there will be many technical compititions held which are quite good.

There is one club called arc who held 2-3 events every year in which they call or alumni who have excelled in their field. Also alumini finds some of the interesting projects that are going on in our campus.

I wrote BITSAT after my 12 th class, My score was around 360 in BITSAT. Also I wrote JEE. I was not getting a seat in to 10 IITs CS department. As l decided to take pursue CS in B tech after top 10 IITs also l didn't get admission in BITS PILANI with that score. So, after all those I felt BITS GOA to be better.

Some of the professors are excellent professors, some of them have a great knowledge though there explanation skills are not that great and other professors are good professors. Many are student friendly, quite interactive with us. I think all of the professors have great qualifications (like PhD) our physics sir used to do experiments in classes, weekly we will have around 25 lectures. Average age might be around 40-45.
