About college life

Needs lot of development in infrastructure, needs more faculties. Though MHRD didn't focus much after the temporary campus our college was provided, year 2020 brings good news that revised fund has been issued. So for the temporary base, college has pretty much everything one looks for.

Course curriculum is good and yes the course structure focuses on the research field. About exam structure, it's like the general way which every student is comfortable with. Labs do not make the days hectic in particular neither they leave us to chill, they are well scheduled and keeps us engaged.

Placements are decent with an average of 450000. Core companies do not prefer because of poor connectivity otherwise if opportunity been provided, students cab definitely benefit from it. Internships are not provided by the college but if one is interested in any, they help financially.

Ekarikhtin is our techno cultural festival. We also conduct euphonics,science day, all cultural festivals. Ekarikhtin is the biggest fest of Nagaland where nearby colleges participates in various activities under it.

Students with family income below a lakh gets full waiver off tuition fees and that way fees drops to 60800 per year, which is feasible for the course studying. Students other than general quota get the same benefit.

Students of OBC,SC,ST quotas get good scholarships and also loan from SBI can be availed because college is listed among the premier institute list of SBI loan scheme which is very helpful for low economy background students.

Labs and sport activities are decent. We don't have grounds, but still we make maximum from what we have. Gender ratio might be 4:1 and yes one can find varieties in the students cultural background. Overall we respect each other's culture and this is a great point of our college.

Yes, alumni is good. They never fail to keep us updated with the opportunities they can provide us. Be it internship opportunities or any job opportunities, they always contact with our placement team and keep us notified.

I cleared entrance exam JEE Mains, where you get some rank and based on your rank a list is provided by Josaa which is an admission taking board. One can choose college which they are eligible to take admission in.

Some faculties are brilliant, some average and some very weak. Overall every college has such spectrum so it's decent. Teachers are highly qualified and they handle their course very brilliantly. HODs of every branch are PhD qualified with good knowledge in their field.
