Remarks

My 3 year in this college passed away like a light speed. But I never seen anything bad. The behaviour of faculty member and senior student is very good. Shyam bazar metro station is very near to our college, so the transport is very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

My B.com honours in based on the paper of Accountancy. 1+1+1 system. 1mean 1 year. In each 3 year University of Calcutta take final exam. 1st year of the course has no honours paper, but 2ns and 3rd year has 8 honours paper. And carrying the honours you need to more than 40% in each honours paper.

Placement Experience

The job placement can't provide by the college. But in India B.com carry most opportunity. After completing this course a student can go for higher studies like C.A, C.M.A, C.S. And anyone can go for job options. Like junior Accountant, financial data entry etc.

Our College celebrate Annual party, Swarosoti puja, Annual sports, holi, Rabindra jayanti and many more. We all student join in those programs. Take pictures, Selfie injoy the party. And many more things we do.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 1st year there no honours paper so all papers are pass paper so the fees pf 1st year is less than 2ns and 3rd year. fees r.s- 1500 to 2500 In 2nd year computer protected is there so the fees of hole year like r.s 2000-3500 3rd year r.s 2000-3500

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship in the college is 2 type. First one is for poor merit students scholarship. And second one is cust scholarship. Both scholarship is given by the government. Cust scholarship for sc, st and other back ward cust.

Campus Life

In case of extracurricular activities our college beat other colleges. Annual sports is one of them. In the sports day many games we play. And the game for all boys and girls. Games like 100 meter run. 400 meter run and many things.

Alumni/Alumna

The behaviour of senior students to junior is remarkable thing of the college. The senior students is very helpful to junior. The senior always help and guide the junior that what right thing and what wrong. And they also teach us how to behave to our junior.

Admission

After completing h.s exam, I want to graduate in B.com honours. Than I chose the Maharaja Manindra Chandra College for that. http://www.mmccollege.co.in/ And fill up the from by this link. And after 7days college publishe the merit list, and I am in it. And college call me for admission.

Prof. S.M sir, Prof. S.P sir and many honourable professors in the college. Without help of them the course is near about most deficult. But the help of those faculty teacher anyone love the B.com course.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance .
