Jagamara Hostel

The jagamara hostel is the negative point of this college. The hostel is hell its a problem. The students have to wake up at 5 o'clock then they had to catch the bus as the hostel is out of campus and when you have to wait till 2:30 pm for bus timing to back to hostel but your class will get over at 12:50 pm. Its a waste of timing.

The course i opt for is btech in computer science, yes the exam and labs are very frequent. The cource is excellent and they even provide us with excellent environment to develop ourself as a coder. There is always 3 exams before the semesters.

The average placement of our college is 4 lpa. The highest this year was 28 lpa from electrical department. The companies visiting here are vipro,sysko,infosis and many more. And there is also mass recruitment by TCSion.

Our college celebrate many fest like roshni which take place before the diwali night then tech fest in which you had to make a RC plane then race with other's plane the the major event that take place is slegans that take place before the end semester.

The fee structure is feasible even a middle class family can afford it. The annual tution fee is 119000 and the hostel fee is different with different facilities. The starting hostel fee is 67000 and the maximum hostel fee is 102000.

The scholarship is provided to the localites and state toppers and they provide the loan facilities. They will give you the bonafied letter and fee structure at the students counter which you will need you for processing loan. The college has a good naac ranking so you will get your loan approval easily.

The labs are excellent in my department their are so many labs that i haven't been to all of them. The google lab is excellent, i liked it the most. Their is a annual sport that take place every year in which student competite branch wise.

The hostel is good except jagamara hostel. The most of the hostels are in campus and their is 3 beded rooms which costs 67000 and 2 beded rooms which costs 77000 and the single bed room which cost 102000. The jagamara hostel is outside the campus which three beded and the rooms are small their. And if you are staying their you have to face many more problems.

The seniors are good. They cooperate with with the juniors and they help their juniors. The college is anti-ragging so their is never been a case ragging. The junior and seniors are always in good terms with each other.

I took the ojee exam then i filled the online councelling form then i had to go to roukela for document verification then finally i had to come to college for admissions, i had to deposit one year tution fee then they had given me my uniform and showed me my hostel.

The faculty is great especially of our branch but their is a lack of communication among the faculty of different department. Their are different faculty for different department in my branch the faculty is excellent.
