Remarks

The management is quite strict regarding the discipline. They shall provide some relief in that. I would also like to suggest the management to introduce more companies in placement sessions. All over the college is good and hard working students can surely be benefited by its curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is quite lengthy. We are taught many subjects like Engineering mathematics and physics, Software Development and Fundamentals (SDF), Humanities, Engineering drawing and Workshop, Electrical sciences and practical in physics and electrical sciences. The major portion isn't of much benefit for the students but the main part SDF is a boon for the students of Jiit. Quite an amount of focus is paid towards proliferation of knowledge of students in this subject in particular. The questions asked in the exam in this subject are really tough. Yeah knowledge gained in this particular subject will help in working in the industry.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are fine. The college provides full support to the students going for placements. The companies visiting the campus for recruitment annually are Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Snapdeal, Deloitte, Infosys, Ericsson, Morgan Stanley, Adobe etc. The percent of students placed every year are nearly 90-95. Yeah various coding rounds are conducted by the institution in the preplacement days.

College Events

4

The events celebrated are many in number. Like national holidays, women's Day etc. Various fest's are organised every now and then for the college students. Two major fests are also organised to enchant the students.Only college students are allowed in these events

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible. About 360000 is being paid by my father for the whole year. The college accepts the bank draft method, net banking and pay orders. No there aren't any specific additional charges to be paid. Yeah the college provides break down fees very early.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college does not offer any completely merit based scholarships to any student. However, students scoring high merit and belonging to a poor background are eligible for some annual fe waivers.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is nearly 3:1(m-f). There are many cultural societies in the college. Also regular debating, coding, robotics competition are held in the college. The seniors really work hard to organise realistic completions. There is lot of fun and excitement while participating in them. Also the college has facilities of cricket, football, basketball, tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, the hostel rooms are air conditioned. The AC works for 9 hrs. In the night. There are two students in one room. Hostels are really helpful for the students. Regular cleaning of rooms is also carried out. Full WiFi connectivity is provided too. Yes the hostel seats are few and hence some students live in PG's in nearby areas. The cost of PG'S on an average for a student is 8000 monthly.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah the seniors are really very polite and supportive. Won't find any seniors like them any where else. The alumnis are also some renowned names today. Kriti Damon the Bollywood actress, Sandeep Jain the founder of coding website geeksforgeeks and many more.

Admission

Admission was granted through counselling conducted by the college itself on the basis of JEE MAINS result of 2019. The admission process covers a span of nearly a month. I took admission mainly due to my rank in the Mains and also because of peer suggestion.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are highly qualified and dedicated. Most of them have either completed or will complete their masters in the coming years. All the faculties especially those related to the core subjects are highly qualified and bwlong to certain IITS and NITS as well. The number of lectures conducted throughout an year are nearly 400. Most of the faculties are experienced with about 30 years in age.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
