Remarks

BITS pilani is a wonderful college to study. Those 4 years of my life were memorable.

Entrance Preview

BITSAT and scored 362 out of 450. I opted for this college as it is the best enginnering college in india.

Course Curriculum Overview

Wonderful, the curriculum was planned excellently and students can register to the courses according to their convenience and timings.

Internships Opportunities

We can choose a company among the list they provide and will be alloted according to our CGPA. Stipend varies from 10,000 to 50,000 depending on the company u get.

Placement Experience

Top companies like google, microsoft visited our company computer science students got 100% placements while other branches were almost placed.

College Events

Bosm (sports festival), Apogee(tech fest), oasis(cultural fest) these were the main events celebrated. Apart from these there will be regional fests celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its feasible. In my year the fees + mess cost was around 50,000 per semester. For later batches it became more expensive. We were also given scholarships according to our CGPAs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit cum need scholarships are available. They will be given for CGPA 7 or above and scholarships were also given for merit candidates.

Campus Life

Wonderful, There are good clubs both cultural and technical where we can join and showcase our abilities. I was in EEE club where we used to do projects for APOGEE a techfest in my campus.

Hostel Facilities

As my campus was established very long back building look a little old but the facilities were good. Mess food was good sometimes but we have extras where we can have other foods with extra cost.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is huge for bits pilani. they will help and encourage the college structure. Senior students were very friendly and used to help us whenever we need it.

Exam Structure

Mainly there will be 3 exams test 1 test 2 and compare in a semester. Also there will be tutorials in between.

Teaching is very interactive.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
