KLS GIT, BELGAVI

good college with little campus. but at par to education it provides a better knowledgeable teaching with good faculty and comes well as per your industrial skills though i lacks at some places like promoting sports.

Computer science in KLS GIT, BELGAVI is a good option to go for as it has got well equipped curriculum and better infrastructure. it comes under Visvesvaraya Technological university so there are total of 8 semesters having 2 semesters every year.

Placement is average as expectations. TCS is the major recruiter and a few more companies. It will be a big say if one is expecting a higher package from a remotely located college. so slary package is average.

major event is Aura held during March every year where bollywood singers are called fo performing. Events are really good and one will enjoy it. They wont be like premium colleges but they are not boring as well.

In 2016 my annual fee was 1, 54, 000. which is quite expensive but worth comparatively. According to it's annual average placement package it is quite expensive as it is also located remotely and not in a major city.

scholarship exams are held but only for the students having domicile of Karnataka and not for the students from other states. Loan facilities are not provided by college as they haveno link with any in campus bank.

extra curricular activities are quite good there and a friendly environment. Students and faculty are supportive and friendly. They treat us impartially irrespective of differencesin culture and language.

They are helpful but one will not be needing much help from seniors. Talking about alumni, they are not in touch with students as there is no such network developed by college. and hardly some wil be visiting college.

COMEDK was the examination name for entrance test. As per my rank i chose KLS GIT, BELGAVI for B.E computer science course as it's faculty and campus selection was way better than other options. Admission process :- 1. entrance test through COMEDK 2. entrance test had 2 papers on same day. 3. after declaration of results the hld 2 rounds of councelling in Bangalore. 4. after receiving confirmation ad document verification in councelling i went to college on the given admision date. There i submitted required documents and depositd fee.

Faculty is very good and they are well exprienced in their domains except a few members. They are frank and supportive and well equipped with required knowledge. Sometimes native language may become a problem but most of the teachers are impartial.
