Remarks

College is very good for research. Not only this one can learn many things in this university. Also student can go to foreign universities from here easily. Job opportunities are also did from this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course is very good. Syllabus are equivalent to that of IITS. Course is also vast. Labs are so good. If anyone wants research this is the best place to be. So many labs and many research programmes happens here. Seminars from international professors are also very frequent. Exams are very tough. Exams and labs make a hectic schedule. Exams are very frequent.3 minors and 1 major happens for one subject. Also lab exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

For Msc physics there are very little or no job opportunities. Placements are nil for Msc physics but for other courses they provide very good placements. For Mtech and MBA and mca high pay job opportunities. For internships stipend is almost 15k to 20k. for above courses. Not for Msc students. I am currently doing internship. Work is good. Teacher also involves very much in research.

College Events

5

All types of fests are conducted here. Technicall from each department is also held. Cultural fests, and management gets are also held. They are quite interesting anyone can participate. Various movie actors also come during fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is structure is low or u can say average. Any poor can afford this.10000/- at the start of admission. Then for each semester 3000/-.Mess fees for every Congress around 2500/- so not a big problem. Very feasible fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

As much as I know u there is no loans provided by university but they avail scholarship. They give 1000/- per month as a scholarship for poor and merit students only not for all. If u are gold medalist in your previous college den college offers 15/- as a reward for you.

Campus Life

4

Labs are too good. But they make hectic schedule for us so we can't take that us refreshment activities. While taking about sports they conduct different competitiions all round the year. Both indoor and outdoor games are held. Here there is indoor stadium for indoor games. Gender ratio is also good. They also conduct Various work shops like art, dance, electronics, everything. Student diversity is too much in this university. All over the country student come. Infact international students also study here under various student exchange programmes.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is so good here. Very goid infrastructure. Everything is good and clean. Each room only 2 members so not a problem at all.play grounds are also very to hostels. Gym also there for students which is very nice and it is also a very good gym. Sports complex for playing indoor games.500/- for every sem hostel fees so feasible for everyone

Alumni/Alumna

Very few alumini people come to give talks here. Senior students are good. Very cooperative in matter of studies. They conduct alumni meet every year. It depends on department. Either they conduct or not. Few departments only conduct those type of talks.

Admission

I got by writing entrance exam. I am pursuing Msc physics in hcu. It's a 3rd best university in India.Campus is so good and teachers are highly qualified.physics is a very interesting subject. I've got on waiting list. All the waiting list have to come to campus for admission. No proxy is allowed. Admission process is very cumbersome. It takes whole lot day.

Faculty

4

Faculty are highly qualified. Some teachers are good and some are average. Faculty are interested only when u are interested. We can do internship under proffesors. Faculty's recommendation is highly valuable from them. We can go anywhere in world with their recommendation. Only some teachers teach passionately. Others focus much on syllabus. There are very good teachers which makes subject very interesting. They very much help in research areas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
