Yes, it's true that every single thing has their own pros and cons, so accordingly, i think i already tell you all the positive things about my department/university, now it's time for some negative remarks is the "up/down" regularly, it's true there are least buses in kurukshetra , you've to wait atleast an hour for your respective bus.

MCA is the 3-year course , first year has those subjects which are already studied by students who have done their graduation from BCA , this is compulsory to make the base of the students, but the syllabus of that subjects is very vast as compared to the graduation , that's why it's post graduation. If i want to sum it up all the theory lectures and labs, it makes my day as hectic. This course gives you all the knowledge of languages (C,C++, Java etc.), Software , hardware etc., and yes, it focuses on research.

See I'm the first year student , so I don't know much about the placements , but yes companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys etc. comes to this university , take the students as interns. In my course i.e., MCA there is no exams in last semester, you've to work under any company as intern and make the major project for your company , then the company will draft the notice saying that major project has been made by the respected student. In this way, post graduation has been done.

Yes, our university conducts various technical , cultural , management events. Students comes from various districts and participate in the events, also the state level of youth fest conducts in this university.

If you talk about my course, the fee structure is feasible ,the exact amount is 22900/- (including admission fees), twenty two thousand nine hundred (in words), this fee structure is not according to the semester instead it is of one year.

Our department conducts the scheme which is "tuition waiver scheme" and "fee concession" , it is for those students who don't have enough money to pay that much fees , so our university gives upto 50% of fees back to those students.

Yes, our university conducts extra curricular activities, recently mobile app development workshop has been conducted , without taking a single penny from the students. It is the 10 day workshop (including Sunday).

Yes, the seniors are very helpful, they are very friendly. They share their experience with us, so that we don't make the same mistake as they did in their time, they do tell us about the method of studying in the exam days.

First of all, kurukshetra university has got A+ grade from NAAC, this makes me mind to take admission in this College, and if you want to know about my choice of choosing the MCA over other courses , it is because that I've done my graduation in BCA , so that's make it obvious about my choice. To take admission in this course , you've fill up the form (online), the date of form starts in June, once you've done filling the form you've to appear in the entrance exam which consists of mostly aptitude questions , and after this 3 lists will be made, first 2 lists are in accordance with entrance exam and percentage in graduation. Third list consists of physical counseling. That's all about admission.

Almost all the professors are the highly qualified , they know their job well, and also they know the way to teach the students , without leaving any confusion in the students' mind, they do concentrate on the practical projects rather than theories in the book.
