Remarks

If u want to study and ur main goal is academics and also u want to study in a city with all facilities available nearby -then it's a good choice If u want sports as ur main thing - it's an average choice Other extra curricular activities -then it's a no.Their is no bus facility in our College

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure is good but a very little scope for research.exams are very hectic as you have to study many books and once u fail u can't attend the next year until u clear the present exams.patter is question and answers ,no objectives

Placement Experience

4.5

Internship is for 1 year- we get 17-20 k per month.internship will be very hectic ,as the whole day we need to be in the hospital with many night duties.after internship u need to write another entrance exam-NEET to enter into pg courses.if not u can get a job with MBBS degree also with 80-90 k salary

College Events

3.5

1.We have a fest once yearly -it is for 6-7 days and we have lots of fun ,but the events are organized without any sponsors credits ,so u can imagine how they are 2.College day-its more a prize distribution day and gold medals distribution - it's a big event 3.hostel celebrations like -halloween,new years-they are good

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it's a govt.College fees is minimal-10,000 College fees+ 20,000 hostel fees+ 30,000 mess fees.total fees will be -nearly 60,000.It is feesible as mess fees is optional and u have to pay monthly.the College and hostel fees are paid annually

Fees and Financial Aid

There are student scholarships for bc and SC/st students.Total College fees exemption is done.they only have to pay hostel and mess fees.but they are not working properly on it.Before scholarships were given timely but from few years they say scholarships are delayed or cancelled.I'm not taking any scholarships.

Campus Life

3

Sports facilities are good in our College.their is an indoor gym facility too.the gender ratio for sports would be 1:1 but for gym m:f is 1:0.the hostels are totally under student maintainance.their is no kind of discrimination in our College.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a very good alumni.they provided water facilities.they even organize a day for alumni.they visit our College and hostels.they even came forward to give money for our auditorium, but our principal didn't accept it

Admission

I love medicine.I always wanted to become doctor and that's the reason I chose this course.I gave an entrance exam in which i got a rank in 800s.its a competitive exam ,u have to score very good marks to get admission.students appearing for the exam are in lakhs and only 2k -4k students get the seat.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members all are doctors with a specialisation.so they all are very much professionals rather than a good teachers.I think they should interact with students more.but in medical profession we don't get to learn more from them ,actually we learn more from patients , experiments, self studies, practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
