Best Extra Curricular Activities

I learned a lot from College. But not from the faculties. There is learning in College because you can get a lot of opportunities in the College. There are different events and extra curricular activities that develope your skills.

The Course Structure on VJTI is very simple. Each semester has 2 Exams. Mid Sem (30%) and final Sem (60%) and rest 10% marks are given through teacher's assessment ( Some teachers rarely give you marks.) The labs dont have latest machines. They have all the old machines. There are only few teacher that teach from heart. Rest just assure to complete the syllabus. But learning in VJTI is easy because there are lot of opportunities like industrial visits, training session, celebrity talk shows.

There are hell tlot of Opportunities in VJTI. THE PLACEMENTS ARE ABOVE 90% EACH YEAR. CS IT people get an average package on 8lpa. And there are lot of opportunities for internships beacasue of reputation of the College

There are total of fourteen committees in College. Technical Events, Cultural Events, Marathi Cultural Events, Entrepreneurship Events, Sports, etc. The average footfall is around 35-40k so you can imagine how big the events are. How big experience we get from working in this events.

It is a government College but in now days the fees are hiked a lot to much. For over batch it was 60k but now a days its beyond 90k and that is a lot for a government College. I will say its an expensive College

There is a scholarship department in College that gives you information about all the present scholarships for students. There are few government scholarships also private scholarships are there. And info can be found on scholarship notice board

Yes, There is Alumni Association that organizes annual meets and also provide scholarship from alumni. The interactions with seniors is easier in annual meets. There is also departmental alumni association.

Its the best College in mumbai. And its one of the only few Colleges that offers textile technology course in maharashtra. The admission process at my time was through JEE MAINS but later on it changed to MH CET. The cut offs are really high especially for CS IT.

Faculty is qualified but only few know how to teach. Few teachers teach from heart and cover whatever they can. Rest are just bothered to complete the syllabus. Teachers give marks on the basis of who talks to them more (First Benchers)
