Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is amazing, college has played amazing role in shaping my career, I will always remember the 2 years of my life spent here. Whatever I am today, FMS has played big role in it. Placements at FMS are amazing. It has always placed 100 percent of its students and average package is above 23 lacs per annum. Also it is consistently ranked in top 5 bschools of India

Placement Experience

Placements are awesome. College prepares us rigorously for placements. 100 percent students are placed so far. Average package is above 23 lacs. Also I Interned with Axis Bank and got Pre Placement Offer

College Events

There are lots of event, from annual management fest called Fiesta to Alumni Meet, DU fests, etc. Different domain bodies organize their own conclaves. Like Finance Society have Carpdiem etc, Marketing society have their own event, we also have sports fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its lowest across the globe, this college gives highest Return on Investments globally. When I got graduated, the fee was 20000 for 2 years. Now they have increases to 1 lac per year, but still its 10 percent of fee one pay at IIM and this college offers same package

No, when fee is 20000 for 2 years, you dont need to take any loan, infact we earned lot of money from corporate competitions.

Campus Life

Campus is small. Very small I would say, but is located in Delhi University, what can be better than north campus of Delhi. Gender ratio is 30:70, boys are generally more. The college is run by students, we have a student body called MSA who take care of all student related activities

Hostel Facilities

No, we have an option to opt for hostel, but I didnt opt for hostel, within DU there are lot of PGs and flats, I stayed with my friends in a flat just 100 mts away from college. DU is known for amazing food and crowd.

Alumni/Alumna

FMS has alumni network of over 10000 alumni spread across the globe, FMS is there since 1952, it is one of the oldest bschool, alumni are very helpful, specially they help us for placements as well.

Admission

I prepared for CAT, got 99.67 percentile in CAT and got interview call from FMS Delhi. Interview process was simple, they conducted Extempore and Personal Interview. Post PI they announced results within 2 days and we were asked to do joining formalities

Faculty

Faculty are decent, they have amazing years of experience, few of them are here since last 25 years, they are well equipped with knowledge of their domain, also few of them even are economist and have represented themselves across various big platforms

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
