Remarks

The college is well known for studies and facilities. But they were very strict in collecting fines from us unnecessarily for simple reasons. For me i had no use at all.Only one thing got some good friends and have good relationships with some of the teachers who know me well.Instead of these things i lost my 3 year studying a course which i don't like at all and studying in a college which is very strict in all aspects and our university Calicut university which was very lag in their whole process.Exams,Results everything. So Wasted 3 years without a graduation just because of 3 subjects. And if i write these 3 subjects which i have failed in 3 semesters,1st thing i am not at all interested to write it.And if i write it i have to wait for another 3 years waiting for the results. So i have talked with my parents and have been planning for other career options. In a whole the course, the college, even the university all these 3 main parts of UG graduation defeated me.But i won't fail i will look up to the next option to get successful according to my wish and my interest.Which i have already started working for that. But somehow i wanted a degree in all aspects i have to look for that too.Presently i am working to get an experience in marketing feild which i love the most as a profession and with that experience i wanted to move forward.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Naippunnya college had a lot of campus placements. But the year which i have graduated there were no companies who came for the placement. For us Industrial visit was just near to us CUSAT almsot 25km from our college.Naipunnya college is very strict. And for me as i took Bsc Computer science i am totally unsatisfied with the college and the course.Industrial visit was just for name sake.No use at all.Our college is not an ordinary college what happens inside the college is totally upside down for we students because there it is very strict compared to any other colleges around the whole district.Among the people it is known fact Naippunnya college is a good college and tge college has a very strict rules and regulations. Our parents are happy in this. But we students totally fed up and totally hated. For me i am totally unsatisfied in all aspects.

Placement Experience

1

Normally at the time of Graduation a lot of companies such as TCS,WIPRO and many other companies used to reach the college for placements but as our batch was graduated there were no single companies who reached the college.Instead we used to attend for the job fairs and all in various places. From there some of the students(5-6)were placed.

College Events

1

In our college we used to conduct sports, arts and all but in a very simple way.No much participants and the programs were in a strict mood.So we couldn't enjoy those programs. In a whole i would say that as our college was very strict we couldn't enjoy the college life as compared to other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i joined in the college through management seat i had to pay a deposit.Which will be returned back as i am out from the college. And regarding the fee structure it was according to semester wise which is around 25k.And there were some other fees which we should have to pay for other activities like projects.Istead of fee break down the fees increased according to the semester. Many fines were also collected from us as the college is very strict.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan was taken my father paid the money by his own.But the course which I opted was wrong.Just because of that i have 3 arriers in 3 semesters. The subject is mathematics which i hated a lot.I couldn't achieve it.Instead i am passed for all other subjects. The college was Run by the Christian missionary. So there we no compromise regarding the cash dealings.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus has all the facilities and the college got a good name. But as we students need some freedom to enjoy the college life we don't even had a chance there.Strict in the sense very strict for every reasons fines and grooming rules. After the assembly making us to shave and come for that paying fine.Because of these all reasons we students even had conducted a strike against the college. But there were no much use.Just because it is a private college and it was run by the Christian missionary. So we students some how completed the 3 years there by enjoying whatever we had.For me no use at all.No good college life,The course which I opted was a failure,No graduation,In a whole i got nothing from there only some friends who are still in contact with me.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No my house was almost 10km away from the college.Where i used to go to the college by bus or sometimes on my motorcycle.Hostel was there in the college campus itself but no one like to stay there because it was like a jail.

Alumni/Alumna

No use evey students who studied there have the same opinion.I had good contact with the seniors just because they know me in my hometown and they know what my character was.So had a good relationship with them.As they know me well they haven't tried to distract me in anyways.

Admission

I got the seat in Naippunnya college through management seat.I am not the person who opted this course. My parents asked me to take Bsc Computer science. If i had a choice i would prefer BBA.I have taken the management seat.Actually me and my sister planned to take BBA and join at a college located in Bangalore the plan was almost set.But suddenly one of my Elderly cousin who is well educated and is my father's brother asked my father to make me to take Bsc Computer science and not to take BBA.Actually my sister know my caliber. But my cousin don't.As my cousin said so my father forced me to take Bsc Computer science and made me to join at Naippunnya college which made me in this miserable situation were i lost 3 years and haven't achieved graduation.I won't blame even my parents.I would think that this is what should happen in my life. But now i am trying to get into the feild which i wanted to succeed.Presently i am working as a marketing officer as a trainee for a experience where afterwards i can get into that feild.

Faculty

3

There were some teachers who teaches us well. But there were many others who were new joining in the college.so there were some difficulties in all aspects. Some of the faculty members were very good to us who are much friendly and try to understand us.But the the overall college Is very strict so we had to face a tough experience. The teachers had good qualifications. But the way of teaching was not that good. There was no a good relationship between teachers and the students. But some of the teachers were very good.Because of that we still have a respect towards them not only respect but also a space in our mind.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
