Remarks

The college is much better than expected, but due to external checking system, the marks obtained are not good and we have to pay a handsome sum for rechecking of copies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course is vast, at least 2 subjects are included in 1 subject, 1 semester time is not enough to complete the syllabus and because of that in exams, we just manage to clear it. Yes, the syllabus is more than enough to get a placement.

Placement Experience

4

The placement before were not that good but after the introduction of placement and training cell, it improved quite a lot. Global logic, Jair networks, hire me(vee technologies), Amcat. Introduction of the company, written test, group discussion, personal interview. Every year is less but this year it was 35-40%.

College Events

5

Tech fest, sports day, seminar, workshop, cultural fest, women's day, republic and independence day, IEEE conference. The celebration and participation are quite good and also the preparation by the students and facilities are also to it's best, the management in all these programs are good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

By challan form except the fees mentioned above, we don't pay any extra money for anything be it industrial visits, workshops, coaching, seminars or any other fest. The fees are feasible if taken normally in accordance with other colleges but is expensive as it is a government college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply for any scholarships or educational loan but lots of my friends did, and the college even selects 2 students who do not have to pay full fees.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is dull as we don't have a good canteen, can't call it canteen it's a small shop type and the infrastructure is also not that good. The college is all-girls college and no male. The workshops are held like every week and sports is like only indoor and volleyball, labs are now good.

Alumni/Alumna

The relationship with seniors are good and there is no barrier, faculties are also supportive as they tell seniors to help juniors and tell juniors to seek help from seniors.

Admission

Because I wanted to do electrical engineering. Because I got this college in first counselling and my portal didn't open for 2nd counselling so I had to choose this college and also it was interesting that it is all-girls college. I came to the college and gave my documents and filled form and submitted fees and admission done.

Faculty

5

6 faculties, average age= 33, PhD Holder or pursuing, or Mtech. Ppts, notes, video lectures, practical, workshops, industrial visits, the lecturers are all up-to-date and knowledgeable in their fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams schedule is fairly regular with internals, sessionals and end semester exams. While the frequency keeps us engaged with studies , it sometimes feels overwhelming when multi assessment are close together . The difficulty level of exams is moderate - neither too easy nor extremely thought . With proper preparation and understanding of the concepts taught in class , the exams are manageable.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

My plan is simple that I will do my best to get placed in a top IT company which GEU students in general do get placed at. Adobe, Microsoft and likewise all the biggest IT names operational get placements. Highest placements at GEU is around 94 lakhs and getting placed at 50 LPA or such dream packages from here is not a deal one can miss on if they have it in them.
