College Review

Overall it is a good and happening college in the city. This is ranked 60 in the country and 6th in the Maharashtra state. Good college, good faculty, good infrastructure and good culture is maintained among the students.

The faculty of the IT department are pretty good and experienced. The Labs sessions are conducted very seriously. There is the semester system where two semesters are there in one academic year. First and second year has online exams instead of insems.

Placements are good as most of the big companies in the country come to the college. No internship facilities. Pretty strict with the entire process. Discipline is maintained. First an Aptitude exam is conducted on the basis of eligibility criteria.

Texypher: Techfest Aarohan : Cultural Fest conducted since 2014. Many celebrities and singers perform in the event. Many activities such as paintball and competitions such as singing, dancing and Band wars are organised

Expensive. In my batch the course fees was around One lac but after the college was privatized and it's due to its own University the fees is now around Three to four lacs. Additional it also charges for certain activities.

No loan or scholarship facilities known to any student. Donation are asked for the students who don't get admissions through legal processes. Students have to really score good in the engineering entrance exams to get into this college.

Activities and sports in the college are good and these things are encouraged well by the management. Sport summit is organised every year. Bharatiya Chatra Sansad is also organised every year which is a nation event.

In the first year I use to live in the hostel. The rooms of the fifth floor are pretty good. Three-sharing. After second year I used to live in pg. Modern bathroom but sharing. Every floor has two bathrooms.

Don't get to interact much with the seniors unless you participate in any event/Fest. But alumini meet is organised every year. My students who has passed out from the college has succeeded and has been working in the many big companies.

IIT JEE exams marks are considered and also the MHT CET marks are considered. The aggregate of these two exams are calculated. And then the merit list is released of the list of students who are selected in the selected branches.

Pretty good. Most of the faculty are graduates of the Pune University itself with Master degrees on their respective fields. Most of them prefer to teach in either hindi or Marathi. Practicals are conducted very seriously.
