My Review

Overall it's quite a good college, provided administration should help students out. Infrastructure is quite amazing, canteen facility is there hostels and accommodation should be provided to as many of students.

The course curriculum is quite good, they have reduced subjects recently to 5 per semester but still 9-5 college is there but Yes,we have 5 days week so it compensates. Labs are there frequently and most important problem is that in the era of computers they give you alot of stuff to write which affects the studies as well.

The placements at VJTI are quite amazing almost 100 percent per year, Yes,college does provide paid internships to few of the students, the companies approach are for example RELIANCE, AMAZON, TATA etc.

Pratibimb, a cultural fest it's second biggest cultural fest in Mumbai, thoroughly managed by students. ENTHUSIA, it's 4th lonegst and largest sports festival in India also managed by students. Technovanza, a tech fest second biggest tech fest in Mumbai manged by students.

The scholarshipIknow is earn and learn scholarship which is provided to students having income less than 1 lack per year and selections are based on interview. Interview is based on how needy really are you to receive this scholarship they give you 20 k for working 40 + 40 hours in two consecutive semesters.

The gender ratioIbelieve is neutral because almost equal or somewhat more no of girls are here, student activities and cultural activities are common here and you will find to have a event happening every month, there is no discrimination regarding race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, politics and neither economical status.

Hostel facility is for very less students. I didn't get a seat there soIdon't know the fees and all. I live in shared flat nearby the college the rent is 6k per student for 5 students. I. e 30k per month.

I never had any communication with alumni but seniors are quite helpful. They always present there in our respective departments to help us out, we play together, work together in the various fests.

I got admission through cap. I got my course simply because my marks were in that range. The admissions are based on reservation system, but you have chance to change your course after first year if you score well.

The faculty is quite qualified with some good teaching experience, all the teachers have good knowledge of subjects and many of them are PhD holders so they can teach us in thorough manner and faculty feedback programme is there which makes us choose better.
