The course curriculum is amazing and exam structure is relevant and fair so curriculum groomed to provide industry and specific to do the students that are really helpful in securing an on-campus placement. And yes many industrial visits organized for the students.

Yes, institute giving special steps to prepare the students for placement season institute giving practical training in the division like radio, tv, newspaper and production there all divisions giving a good drawback to the student for learning radio jockey, how to become an anchor, how to write in newspaper or magazine and how to become a good director and actor this type of facilities is easy to clear the interview.

College Events

My institute is giving a lot of events in media industries like Aaj Tak, NDTV, Zee News, Zee Salaam, news nation, India TV and Lok Sabha TV. Institute also celebrate Holi, Durga Puja Diwali, children's day, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and lots of festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college fee structure feasible giving you two types of fee structure first is a plan A in this plan student giving all fees in one time and plan B student giving all fees in instalment and my institute is also an additional fees charges that are had to be a paid in your order to secure your admission to your course and reserve your seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, my college offers a good scholarship opportunities to all students but after the exam because in my college is a criterion to get scholarship first is students score above 60 percent masks in exams and your attendance above 75 percent then you got a scholarship.

Campus Life

My college gender ratio is the number of boys is more then and girls ratio is less college giving a sports activities live cricket match and giving up good events in media industries and organiser good and healthy debate in every month and students attend all the debates college giving the the lots off opportunities like RJ hunt and organise a competition anchor of the year.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students giving good advice to every junior student help him in every problem by facing junior student they are giving good advice to how to clear and score good marks in exams and all senior students show their experience to how to become in good in this industry.

Admission

I got admission in this college for call interview. I am interested in media and I want to become a radio Jockey that's why I choose IAAN school of mass communication. I am searching for lots of institute on internet and visit some media institute but a school of mass communication is better than other institute.

Faculty

My college faculties are totally good they have their own great qualifications and experience in media industries so they show all the faculties show their experiences. All faculties nature wise good they giving good advice and teaching good and motivate all the students.

Kamala Nehru College: Where Opportunity awaits

Likes

I really liked the environment of the college as there was a diverse set of students coming from across the country.
The faculty was top notch and was very dedicated and knowledgeable. If we faced any issue they would come up to help us deal with it.
Also i liked the infrastructure of the college as they recently added a new building and have improved a lot in sports equipments and facilities.

Dislikes

The admin section of the college is very slow and it is a hassle to deal with them. Half a time they are either on a break or on lunch.
There is sometimes non availability of chairs in classrooms like there are approx 40 chairs in each classroom but if the strength of the class is more then we have to borrow it from the next classroom.
Also you will have to take up some additional course which sometimes feel unnecessary but its not only in this particular college but in all the colleges under University of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

Likes

I liked the environment and the crowd of the college, and also my professors. Like seriously they are so helpful and kind
Also what I like about this college is that it's liberal unlike other colleges of North campus
I love the ashoka lawn and the big ground in front of the gym

Dislikes

I hate the staff, especially the technical staff ( Ankita Jain ), I went to her with erp portal issue and she just didn't look after my issue properly and sent me away. It was totally unexpected. She must be removed from her position.
The canteen staff, I didn't like their behaviour
Some of the seniors are shit and not helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 9 out of 10. The reason is simple, whatever my professors teach and everything that is there in my syllabus is really helpful for my future. Not just that, they way lectures are delivered by the professors is just awesome

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

College provides a free environment for sports.
It is ragging free college and many anti ragging laws are here
One of the best features of our college is it in origanising seminar time to time.

Dislikes

There is a issue in time table uncertain classes are a problem for us
So high attendance criteria makes us in trouble.
There are not hostal facility which make a critical situation.

I chose the course because I want to become ias.approximately 100students in class . . Many proofesser are highly educated like PhD ma etc our faculty offers many opportunities.There are 6 semester in 3 years and 2 in each year .it is normal to crack the exam but hard to get High marks

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.

Think Big and Do big

The college to which I had applied after my 12th result is the Iaan School of Mass Communication. It's actually a Private College but under the recognized university Makhanalal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication. The process of admission to this college is First Come and First Serve. There are no such marks required but the person should be 12th Pass.
