The course curriculum is not very exhaustive. There are only general courses that are offered for MBA in Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, and Operations. Some courses like Quantitative Analysis for Financial Management (QAFM) are nice courses offered only in IIT R and IIM C. In terms of faculty, the institute has a less number of faculty but the experience level is good. The curriculum on the whole is not that exhaustive and is just like a normal institute. The 2 years are not that hectic and the assignments and course load are also very manageable.

Yes, the college provides Internship opportunities. The average stipend in 25k for 2 months. The overall experience is good and there are decent opportunities to get internships in good companies across sectors.

Batch 2013: 75 students were placed out of 85 Companies that came: Deloitte, Crisil, Infosys, HCL, Analytics Quotient, KPMG, Dream Orbit, IFFCO, Wipro, Smart Cube, Shephertz Technologies, etc. The average package was 8.5 LPA. The highest package was 12 LPA. Median was 8 LPA.

IIT Roorke events: Thomso - The cultural festival, one of the biggest in India. Confluence - One of the Biggest technical fest in India MBA events: Exuberance - Sports events within MBA department Regalia - Alumni event with MBA department. Many other industry events etc. are also there.

Fees are the biggest USP of IIT R. Till 2012 batch, the total fees for MBA was 2.15 Lakh. Post that the fees have increased to 5.5 Lakhs but it's still feasible as compared to other colleges asking for close to 15 Lakhs With 5.5 Lakh fees and an 8.5 LPA package, IIT R offers one of the best ROI among all MBA colleges in India.

Loan facilities at subsidized rates are available for IIT R students within the campus. There are 2 government banks i.e. PNB and SBI that offer loan facilities.

Campus life is great. The facilities that IIT R provides are one of the best in the country. Lawn Tennis, Cricket field, hockey field, badminton, squash, swimming, etc. all are present on the campus. The gender ratio is on the negative side. it's 75:25 in favor of the males.

Hostels at IIT R are very good. They have various facilities such as Gym, Pool, TT, Canteen, etc. of their own. Some of the hostels are single occupancy but most of them are double or triple occupancy. The Mess food is decent but only vegetarian is offered.

The alumni network of IIT R is huge as it is the oldest engineering college in the country (founded in the 1800s)However MBA does not have that strong of an alumni base as it has only started 17 years ago and the batch size is very small every year

The course is a semester system. 5 courses in each semester. Each semester has exams 3 times, with assignments for each course. The assignments and the curriculum were not that hectic. Regular classes of 5-6 hrs then 1-2 hrs of assignments.

Marketing: 2 Operations: 2HR: 3IT: 1 Other than this, there are 4-5 guest faculties that are awesome. This is the reason IIT R offers dual degrees for example MBA in Marketing and Finance due to faculty crunch.
