Review of the college

The college provides every platform one can demand. It is the best college in entire capital in terms of education. After completing 12th, this college always holds the place of 1st priority. It is in the main road of the city. Infra is also good. Discipline is followed a lot. Security is too high as outsider can not enter in the college.

My specialization was b.com ( voc.) Banking and insurance honors, which includes very huge course curriculum. The information given to us were so accurate and updated. The course structure was good enough to enhance the knowledge and student are free to do internships as much as they can. The exam process was too strict were attendance was a very important factor which was 75%, less than that no one was allowed to sit in the exam. The environment of the college is too genuine and cheering.

Placement wise, this college has just started the placement cell, so as comparable to others it is not too attractive but again it all depends upon the potential of the student. They give us such knowledge that you can get jobs in your field. College approve the internship but they don't select the company as it all depends upon the field of interest of the students.There is compulsion to do an internship in last semester. At the same time this structure was only for B.com Vocational department. One can do internship as much as they want. There are very few companies who provide stipend rest doesn't.

College frequently organise cultural program and different competition in every field such as debate, cricket, basketball, speech, music, etc. The main program of the college is Xavierutsav festival held in 2nd week of every February of the year.

Talking about the fee structure,it all depends on the course one is selecting. In my course the the fee was quite high like 35k per annum. But at the same time many students get the category wise scholarship.

scholarships are given according to the catagories (ST/SC/OBC/and so on). But due to under open catagory I didn't get any of them. The college mostly provides bachelor degree apart form m.com and m.a. and scholarship is given to all student who match the criteria.

This college provides a very good stage to enhance one's personality. Every year college fest is organised. During whole year the college promote so many cultural programs where any one can participate.

Seniors are quite supportive to everyone. Sometimes they play important roles as compared to teachers.They are available all the time. They help the students in every way they can. The alumnies specially help in placements to understand the current market scenario.

After completing 12th, the foremost step was to fill the application form for admission in this college. Then an entrance exam was conducted. Those who met the required marks criteria got the admission notification. After some time deadline for admission was given. By submitting all the necessary documents and payment of admission fees, I legally became the student of St. Xavier's College.

The faculty of the college is so experienced. Most of them have done their p.hd. the faculties are always ready to help you in any academic problem. They teach in an impressive way. They are friendly enough to make the environment good.
