On my experience College is good for academics, extracurricular activities are little low, sports are very low. College library is huge and have almost more than enough books you require for you to pass any entrance exams conducted in the country.

The course is very important for us if we are interested to know the science of our earth. Different research laboratories are provided by the college With regular practical classes. Exams are based on CBCS pattern, 2 year course, 4 semester exams, and 2 mid-sem exam in each semester.

There are very less placements in the college. Very few companies came in different departments of the college. In our department of geology there is zero placements. But you can get jobs on the basis of different entrance exams you qualify.

Cultural programs is been often celebrated in the college campus, Dancing, Singing, Painting, Art work, and even more compitition is being organised. Generally the programs not so big but good one. All the management is done by the president of student union of the college.

Fees are not too expensive. Its feasible, Admission fees is 3550, per semester examination fees is 700, 500 library fees. One can easily afford to pay the fees, if not, scholarships are also provided for poor students.

Scholarship is provided by the state government as well as central government. You can only apply for the scholarship if you family annual income is less than 70000. You have to submit the income certificate issued by the government.

Gender ratio is M:F= 1:1, Students are very friendly, workshop are done on weekly basis, no discrimination is done on any basis in the campus. Ragging free campus. Every caste, religion, race, sexual orientation student can study here.

No, I haven't opted for hostel. I live in PG and pay 5000 including fooding and lodging. By the way hostel infrastructure is good. Each room includes attached bathroom and there are 18-20 rooms in each floor in a Building of 5 floors

Truly I have no experience with my college seniors, even not had any interaction with any alumni. But you have to intract with your seniors. They maybe helpful to you for giving knowledge about the entrance exam for jobs.

Graduated with good marks. Applied online application under Ranchi university official website. Got selected on merit list and got selected for my post graduation in the college. Required documents such as marks sheet, migration certificate, transfer certificate and original government id proof.

Every faculty members are well qualified. Each are of minimum 10 years experience. They always support the children and motivate them too. They even organises field trips on quarterly basis. All faculty members are Phd scholars.
