Something about mdu

Positive remark is that the infrastructure is very good. And students are also very good. But some faculties are not up to the mark and the politics is very bad. Fights are also there on regular basis in hostel as well as in college campus.

Course structure is quite good. It's not the best. The plus point is that there's new new languages you will learn. And the exam structure is also good. Nothing like a hectic day. You are chilled throughout your exams.

Placements are there but not everyone gets placed. You have to have a good knowledge about your subject then only you will be placed in a good company. Companies like infotech, Gillette, ola, Microsoft, Uber, swiggy, zomato and many more reputed companies come for placement. Till now I have not done any internship so I have no idea about that.

Cultural fest which was held in December last year was very huge and well maintained. Book fairs, piano competition, fresher's and many more fests are being organized on regular basis. Sports competitions are being held almost every month on a very huge level.

Fee structure is quite feasible. Even a poor family can afford fees. I am persuing b. tech and my fees is almost 3 lakh for the entire 4 years. 40,000 per semester. In that infrastructural fee, library fee and turion fee is included.

I don't have any knowledge about that. I have not taken any loan and I also don't know anyone who have taken any loan so I can't say about that. I have heard that there is loan facilities provided by college.

Gender ratio is low in my course. There is more boys as compared to girls. Parties are conducted like fresher's for juniors and farewell for seniors and some regular small parties. There are no such discrimination on basis of gender, race, religion etc. Elections are conducted but not every year. Bad political status.

Yes I have opted for hostel. Hostel rooms are sufficient. Per room 2 students. There are total 10 hostels and each hostel have a capacity of almost more than 200 students. In case, a student is not allowed a room he can go for pg. There are many pg's nearby. Average rental is around 1,000 per room. I don't have any knowledge about that because I have been allotted hostel from the first semester.

My experience with the seniors is quite wonderful. Everyone is helpful and ready to help at any time. They help in curriculum as well as in external activities. They are like our families. And there is no scope of any ragging.

I chose computer science over other courses as it is in trend now and I have interest towards learning new languages. I got admission on the basis of my jee mains marks. Admission process is very simple. There will be a merit list and if you have secured sufficient marks in jee mains then you will be shortlisted and will be given admission.

Almost each faculty is highly qualified. And most of them are interested to teach but some are there to just time pass. Some are really concerned with the future of their students but there are some who have no interest in teaching.
