College review

Positive aspect is that professors from all the departments are nice even if they don't reach you. We have a newly built canteen with home style food. Only downside is that the building is old and the college ground is a bit small. The main sports ground is somewhere far.

The course covers wide topics. Is generally a Hectic day for chemistry student with normal classes and practical day on daily basis. exams are conducted my University of Calcutta. Standard question were asked in exam

As for the chemistry student no student has ever gone to placement cell as we are further interestd in post grad. But we do have placement cell in which many reputable companies have come for interviews.

We have college fest every year in which many students take part whether they are dancers, musician or gamers and showcase their talents. Many students take part in organizing the event and make it a successful event. We also have many intercollege competitions.

Feasible. My chemistry hons yearly fees was just Rs16,000 which is very cheap compared to other colleges. We have to pay the fees on two installments which makes it easy for the one who can't give the sum in one go.

No scholarship available as far as I can remember. But for the people who can't afford I believe there are some facilities by which their fees are reduced to bare minimum or given huge concession. I think this is only possible after you talk to principal

Have sports day every year and have many clubs such as Drama club, literature club showcasing their talent. Since it's a Christian college we do have grand Christmas celebration with musicals even in all the hostels

Hostel is very good. It has large room with some having 2 seater to some having 4 seater. Food is hygenic. Seats are very limited so people from far off places get it. Fees is around Rs40,000 in a year. PGs in the area have monthly rents ranging from Rs4000 to Rs7000

Yes. College seniors are very helpful. They guide you as to what books to refer to and how to study. The Alumini most of them are in reputable research labs and University. So they guide you properly as to do what after graduation and how are the procedures.

Good reputation of college for chemistry made me choose this college. Good faculty and infrastructure. Merit list is prepared and students are called for confirming their documents and the admission is given.

Every professor is very knowledgeable and has a PhD. One can approach them any time to get their doubts cleared They guide properly and also are very supportive even when it comes to real life problems.
