Student review

It is a very good college for academics and for extracurricular activities also. there are many great teachers and that helps us to get outdoor activities like painting trees, making a special school better and many more.

For me, there was hectic days and mostly chilled days. The course structure is very good that it makes out the creativity inside ourselves. They provide outdoor painting and other activities that makes us love college life.

I am a first year student and i dont know much about placements and internships. But as i researched, something like 20% of the students in architecture department are getting placed which is ok since it is architecture. And we can get jobs easily out there since it is a nationally important college.

All the cultural, art, technical fests are very good. They do it frequently. Technosearch is the largest fest in our college which consists of everything. In 2019, Asees Kaur had performed her live perfomance here.

Fees structure is ok. It depends on the annual income of the student's family. Less than 1 lakh: 22626 1 lakh to 5 lakh: 55626 Above 5 lakh: 85626 And mess fees is about 12000 per semester that is 6 months.

I have applied for national scholarship portal scholarship for minority affairs and i think i will get it because most of my seniors got it. There is loan availability from sbi. I don't know much about it.

Extracurricular activities are very good in our college. I have heard that it has got the largest gym in accademic institutions in India. Workshops are arranged by various departments and they are pretty good and it happens frequently. There will be some workshop in every week. Gender ratio is low in or college. But in architecture department, there is 1:1 ratio.

There are two new hostels. I have never been to any other hostel. Hostel no. 10 is very, very good and its the best well planned hostel i have been to ever. I am saying this honestly. The hostels are well planned.

Seniors are very helpful in our college. They helps us to study various softwares and all. There is some sort of ragging but it's mostly friendly and it will always be good for ourselves only. I have heard that there are many alumnus that have high posts.

I always wanted to be an architect. So I wrote JEE Paper 2 in 2019, got 98. 2 percentile. After so much of investigations, I tried for SPA Delhi, NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy, NIT Bhopal etc in the same order. And I got admission here. I was sure that it is one of the best colleges in India for studying architecture.

Most of the faculties are good but still there are junior faculties that are not good. Design faculties are very good, that makes us love the subject and design is the most important subject in architecture course.
