About an engineering college with no civil department

Infrastructure is bad and so is the faculty,and also the students here at the college are not from a higher rank in the entrance which makes it hard for the college to make a change. Support from that management and the faculty is great.

My college follows the regulations from the university and very strict in applying the rules. The curriculum is very old and not reliable for research. There is no place for research in the college. There are no exams other than the semester exams.

There are limited companies that offer jobs to our college,almost no placements for mechanical department. Placements for computers and electrical department are not applaudable. No major companies offers job in our college. Any sight of MNCs is

Technical events are very rare, 2 cultural events an year. One is for fresher's and for the alumini. The auditorium provided is great. The department which handles the events is very reliable. Every student is given a chance to prove their talent.

It's very unreasonable and expensive though there weren't any facilities. They collect fee per year not for semester. They almost doubled the fee now for what I paid for my first year. I have to pay 35000 per annum.

No,college offers nothing financial. Students were given reimbursement by the government and also college doesn't offer any loans. some students are given scholarship that is too by the government only.

Cricket is a major sport on our college,there is no PE or a department for extra curricular. For starters we don't have a ground or space enough for games, though we are provided with state of the art auditorium.

They weren't helpful in academics but they were friendly and supportive in sports and extra curricular. There was no bullying and ragging. They resolved conflicts with no fights. They also helped in accommodation.

I got a seat in the college through Entrance exam and I cleared the exam and then I was called for the university for certificate verification selected through web counselling. I chose mechanical because I always wanted to be a product designer.

Only one PhD professor is assigned for mechanical department though the teaching staff for other departments are heard Qualified. Most of the faculty are under qualified in my opinion with very less experience.
