Remarks

Overall, the college is pretty good. Leaving the fees, internal costs and teaching faculty beside, the college surely deserves to be known by the name of best college of Delhi-NCR. We also have a huge library and good security measures.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college has an updated course curriculum. Every year, we have new courses added to the bucket list. The subject code of every course explains the year in which the course was added. Regular semester is evaluated using 3 examinations. T1 - 20 marks (1 hour) T2 - 20 marks (1 hour) T3 - 35 marks (2 hours) Internal assesment - 25 marks Overall, the schedule of the exams including the lab and their tests leaves a person with a hectic day. Before T1, The day is chilled but after that, there is no room to breathe.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement and job opportunities are best things of this college. The traning and placement cell of the college is very responsive and helpful in every aspect. Ranging from big tycoons like Amazon and Grofers to startups, every type of company comes here. Roughly speaking, more than 50 companies have already visited the campus and are getting ready for their second drive. There is not much help extended by the college for internship except the fact that it is mandatory to do at least 1 summer intern before the final year.

College Events

3.5

Every year, an annual fest "Impressions" Is held in the college in the month of february, a technical fest, "Cyber-Srishti", is held around March-April. I was technical lead of Cybersrishti for the 2 consecutive years. More or less, these fests are organised and maintained by the students and not by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is an expensive college. Apart from the ?70000 tuition fees and ?30000 development fees, we have a huge ?52000 hostel fees and a bunch of internal hidden costs. Every year ?700 is charged from each and every student of the college under the name of Jaypee Youth Club which is responsible for organising Impressions. Apart from this, every hub of the college has their registration fees and facilities such as laundary also has their registration fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any scholarship during my college time. There is no loan facility provided by the college either. The scholarship provided by college is for the students with family income less than 1. 5L. The student has to maintain a CGPA greater than 7 to be eligible.

Campus Life

4.5

Lab facilities are pretty good here. We have multiple labs of various kinds from physics to Bio-Tech Lab. Sports facilities are not available here. Only the ground is provided by the college and no appratus. However, we have a pool table in the hostel but the play is chargeable. Student/Dorm parties are mostly discouraged by the college authorities. Workshops and socities are handled by the students. Teachers, literally have no role in maintainance of the same. Strict disciplinary action is taken against those who are indulged in ragging, violence and other dangerous activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is great and so are the facilities provided by the college. Generally, all the rooms are shared by 2 people with common washrooms and common place to drink water. All the heavy powered items such as Iron, electric kettle are prohibited inside the rooms, if found, a fine of ?500 is imposed.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors and Alumni are pretty helpful here. However, there is no help from college for any kind of meet and greet with experienced people out there. Seniors help a lot to understand the college procedures, examination related queries, placement related queries and referrals.

Admission

I got admission in this college through JEE Mains Rank. I got the CSE branch with the college hostel facility. The counselling and admission process went smooth. The admission and registration was scheduled in the college campus. One thing that I noticed is, there is no guidance to go through the process till date. The faculties involved in the process are kinda rude.

Faculty

2.5

The teachers here have a good knowledge of the subject but most of them are here because of their knowledge and not because of teaching skills. Due to high syllabus, everyone is more focused on completing the course than to extend the learning and understanding. At the end of every semester, we have a feedback form rolling out but that's always a mere formality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
