Remarks

Everything is great just the place that it's in is a bit too expensive. A cab ride to the airport 3km away costs around ?300-400. This place in particular doesn't pose a great platter for the vegertarian crowd but it's Goa so you can relax a lot and not take a lot of stress.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is excellent with continuous evaluative component like quizzes and labs and projects also major components like mid semester and comprehensive exams. Exams are a bit hectic but manageable

Placement Experience

We are provided 2 internships over the four years one at the end of 2 nd year and one at the end of 4th year. The 2nd year internship is non stipend one and the 4th year one provides stipend. Rest a student can apply for a summer term internship but that's purely based on merit.

College Events

We have 3 annual major fests named Waves,quark and Spree which are among the biggest fests in the country. multiple events take place over a spell of 3 days each and we have footfall as high as 40k sometimes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a bit expensive but being a completely private institute with no government aid at all it's justified. A semester fees is approximately 2lakhs which includes hostel and mess fees too. However the rates change from year to year as there is a hike every now and then.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship that's purely based on merit for CGPA greater than 9. 2/9. 3 and there is one called merit cum need scholarship that provides scholarship too those who perform decently and have a family annual income less that 8-10lakhs INR

Campus Life

Everything is spectacular. The gender ratio is close to 9:1 and it's a secular crowd. Many aspects such as labs and all are international standards and sports facilities like the cricket ground was maintained by BCCI.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network here is extraordinary and are ready to help any time I need. The seniors too are very helpful and approachable who act as both friends and mentors too. There is absolutely no ragging over here and things work out pretty well

Admission

Wrote an entrance exam and got a course based on the cutoffs and my preference list. Then had to appear at the time of admission post paying all the fees and taking care of all the particulars. There happens a final round where your final seat is declared

Faculty

The faculties are well qualified with advanced degrees from top institutions across Indian and abroad. There are professors with advanced research and patents and also some that frequently are invited by universities like Oxford to give guest lectures.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
