Remarks

The college has a good atmosphere. Thanks to the far location away from town. The students who study come from middle class and lower middle class families. The college has the serenity and innocence of a village.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

With a focus on Research, I would say that the college is not upto the mark. The exam pattern of the university is not good as well. They often cancels the exam which leaves the students in huge dismay.

Placement Experience

1.5

Coming to the internship and job opportunities the college is not up to the mark. There are also placement programs or internships which offers the students a monthly or an yearly stipend. It only sends students to other colleges.

College Events

4.5

Coming to the culture activities, the college is awesome. The college goes through an election process each year. On the basis of the results a students union is made. This union is responsible for the cultural activities. There are Freshers Day, College Day, Arts Day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is a Government College. The fees structure is feasible. It only collects nominal fees. There are also various concessions offered to students as well. These concessions are based on caste and economic status of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't offer any scholarship. But there are many government sponsored schemes in which students get yearly scholarships. There are no loan facilities available in the college. These scholarships as based on the marks of students during their school days.

Campus Life

2

About the Gender Ratio, though the college is a mixed one it seems to be female dominated as the numbers of the girls are always high in this college. There are no Student/Dorm parties. All are friendly there. Especially students of different department end up. in companionship after the course completion.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is department based. The college doesn't have an official Alumni Association. There are unofficial Alumni groups that are active. They often provide good support to the college. Senior students are friendly and helpful as well.

Admission

The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The admission process is through the Centralised Allotment Process, in which students have to give the list of colleges they wish to study. University on the basis of their marks allots colleges to them.

Faculty

4

I was a student of Mathematics. I am proud to say that the Mathematics Department of this college is excellent. The faculty encourage the students to participate in extracurricular activities. They are also knowledgeable persons of their respective subjects.

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro, accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
