My College review

The college is situated at 10 kilometers away from the main town so it is very peaceful here. The commute to the main town is very good. The public transport facilities around the college is very good as the college is situated by the side of the National Highway. The college focuses on your overall development and not just academic development so your personality also develops.

The course curriculum has diversified recently and new subjects have been introduced to the students to make the students updated and to face the practical scenarios. The exam pattern is similar to any other colleges. The exam continues for around one month. First practical exams are held then the theory exams.

The placements are based on your merit and marks of all the eight semesters. The placements are mostly in Infosys, Tech Mahindra, luit minerals, ACC Limited, Aseb etc. The average annual package is around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs. The college also providea internship in the higher semesters in some reputed companies and organisation.

There are many events held in the college all year round. The main cultural event of the college is Euphuism that is held in the month of February or March. During this event many technical contest, singing competition, dance competition, robo wars, drama etc are held. DJ night and music night are the highlight of this event. Apart from this Republic day, Independence day, Saraswati puja etc are also celebrated in the college.

The fees structure is around 500000. Quite feasible for a B.Tech course and that too in such a good college. The hostel fees is around 10000 per month and the hostels are situated inside the college campus.

As such college do not provide any scholarship facilities but provides fee wavier if you score very good in you semester exams. You are also entitled to get cash of ten to eleven thousand if you come first or second in your class. You are also entitled to pay less fees if you have scored very well in your 12th and Jee mains.

There are lots of extra curricular activities in the college. The are various clubs in the college like photography club, drama club, music club, environment club, social club, career development club are various others. You can join any club of your choice and take active participation in it.

The hostels are present inside the college campus at the backside of the college. The boys hostel is newly built and has all the basic amenities required by a student. The girls hostel is built with the college and a bit old but it also has all the basic amenities. The hostel food is also good enough. The library is situated at the ground floor of the boys hostel.

Many of our seniors have got placements in Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Aseb, ACC limited, luit minerals, etc. Most of them are currently working in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai etc. Some has also opted for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA, MS etc. Some are also working in the public banking sector.

I got admission into the college based on my merit. Jee mains marks also plays an important role if you have scored well. You have to sit for a brief interview and give your preference for the course you want to take. I choose this course because of its high demand in the contemporary world.

The college have some seior faculties from renowned institutions of the state. The faculties are very knowledgeable and are very liberal with the students. They interact with the students during their lectures and keep the students involved during the lectures.
