Remarks

One can come in and take full use of the resources provided to develop ones individual profile is what I fell required for any University. Every student is given enough time and resources to be utilised let it be in sports or cultural or technical

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is on par with international standards. It focuses on research and innovation. Exams are challenging and labs are well equipped with the latest equipment. As per the laboratory usage, every student is allowed to perform any experiment they wish to, provided they get a prior theoritical approval from a mentor.

Placement Experience

3

Placement opportunities are available. The campus is visited by more than 500 companies and everyone eligible and interested in placement will find a job. Internship are provided by college at many major companies and given a good stipend.

Singers and musicians to DJs from all over the world take on the stage to show their ultimate talent. Coming to the technical fest, La Elvitia, hosted by Innovation Center in the month of September attracts 2000 students from all over India and conducts one of the largest hackathon in Hyderabad

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is above feasibile but not expensive. The average fee for Bachelors degree would be 2.75L INR per year. As per masters programme the fee would be much less. MBA can cost one up to 5L per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are offered by major banks in India. One can avail scholarship based the university's merit cum means scholarship program where the top 3 rankers of each of the 32 section would be given a good monthly stipend.

Campus Life

5

An awesome culture for extra curricular activities. Students are encouraged to take part in various technical, cultural and sports events. The college has one many national competitions, hackathons and also featured in the National level for IEEE International Project Expo. Innovation is at the root and any funding is instantly granted.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has an excellent alumni network. Students working in large corporate giants to startups and entrepreneurs were once a part of this college. The university's G-Alumni portal provides access to alumni resources.

Admission

I got admission to this college from GITAM Admission Test. It is conducted every year by the University. After the results are declared and you are among the top 50000 students, you will be called for a counselling session where you are given a choice of course. You can select any course.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty in the college are well qualified. They have sound knowledge and are easily approachable for doubts and extra matters on the subject. Innovation is highly encouraged and the faculty join the students in funded and guided research projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
