Remarks

College is very good with decent infrastructure with decent academic and good placement. Some teachers are very rude one should be very good with the staff and the teachers. Campus infrastructure is boring.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is little bit outdated but still every basic topics are covered. 6 months are given for each semester and the syllabus must be completed according to it. There are 2 major exams in oer semester 1) Internal exams 2) External exam. There are 3 internal exam each exam in every month and 1 external exam in every semester.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are one of the best part of my college each and every student can be placed if they work as per the placement training. Number of companies visiting to the college is very high and package offered is also good. Mainly IT companies vist to my college, core companies are very less very few companies hire from the core branch.

College Events

3.5

Several technical and non technical feast are organised in each semester. Technical feast are Mainly branch oriented while in non technical feast all the branches are involved. Technical feast generally occur in every 2 month where as non technical feast like parichay and Pantheon occurs simultaneously Evey year. There is also one hostel feast utopia exclusively for hoteliers every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is based on your quota if you take admission through CET the fee is around 75k where as for COMED-K It is about 2. 2 lakhs also for management quota fee vary from branch to branch but it is generally very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided only to the Karnataka students. Obc and sc/st students of Karnataka are eligible for the scholarship. Non Karnataka students are not eligible for the loans can be provided easily from the bank which is in the campus

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are well equipped and 2 basketball court, 2 cricket ground, 1 football ground and 1 badminton court is available in the campus while several indoor games facility is available in the campus. Ragging is strictly not tolerated in the campus there is no discrimination among the students. Seniors are very helpful and friendly and support jounier every time.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of the college is very good i know several seniors and asked several things though out my engineering life they helped me allot during project seminar and internships. They helped you Evey time you ask help.

Admission

To get admission in RNSIT there are 3 criteria: 1. )For Karnataka students they can write CET exams and can get admission through counseling after getting there ranks. 2)For non-karnataka students they must appear in COMED-K Examination and secure rank to attend counseling 3) Through management quota any student can take admission in any college with high fee structure.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is average in my college. Some faculty are very good but some are very rude. Number of teaching and non teaching staff are adequate. Non teaching staff are very helpful during the lab and some teaching staff are also good and help students throughout the semester. Number of professor are less but assistance professor are more. Hods of every department are good

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
