Remarks

We can excel in this college if we use it. It is up to us to use the college or not as far as the college is concerned there are no negative thoughts at least in my mind. The environment is positive the faculty is positive and everything about vit is positive allowing no negativity into it

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is exactly what I have expected from VIT. The teaching is good and I highly appreciate the class schedules and lab schedules. There are 3 exams in a semester CAT1, CAT2, and Trend. The trend is cumulative of all units where cat1 and cat2 are partitioned

Placement Experience

For the last three years as far as I know there have been a hundred percent placements in different companies like from Microsoft to TCS and also there are companies in categories like super dream offer and mass recruit

College Events

The famous RIVIERA which is a cultural fest where the students can express all their skills from art to dance and there are things called pro shows where some of the famous singer celebrities are called for a concert.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For B. TECH there are categories from 1 to 5 where the fee varies from 1. 5 lacks to 6 lacks and this category is decoded based on the entrance exam. For my course i. e m. tech software, the seats are less so there are only three categories

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 3 scholarships. Number one is merit scholarship where the highest CGPA scores will get a prize. The second one is a financial scholarship for the families who have an annual income of fewer than 2 lacks and the last one is a start scholarship where poor students are chosen from each district of Tamilnadu and are made to study free of cost

Campus Life

There are nearly 102 clubs in vit. So no need to worry about extracurriculars. Whatever is your interest you can join a club and excel in it. And there are lots of grounds for sports internal gyms swimming pools etc for that matter

Alumni/Alumna

There are many helpful communities on Facebook and Whatsapp where seniors and alumni personally give their vest reviews to the students who are in need and they are very responsive I met a lot of seniors and asked their opinion about VIT before joining.

Admission

I have written the Entrance exam. I have also given my 12th mark sheet and my JEE score for the admission of my course. Then I have attended the counseling and chose my category based on my marks and then Filled a form for my course admission, given my biometrics and all the formalities.

Faculty are good. As far as I travelled in VIT I loved my faculties very much, and we get to choose our faculties among the given faculties due to the fully flexible credit system. All the faculty are well experienced and knowledged

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

I got good percentile in JEE so i was getting admission in few mid ranked and top NITs, but there was no CSE branch available in any top NIT and I specifically wanted CSE branch soo I applied for other entrances exams for SRM,Amrita,VIT and Manipal but out of all I preffered VIT because it has a good package and better NIRF ranking than even many NITs, also after bachelors I want to do masters from abroad and VIT has best reputation for CSE abroad when it comes to CSE.VIT accepts admission through VITEEE exam which asks questions from class 12th PCM, English and General aptitude...Read More
