The institute is really good, but the campus is really small, faculty needs no replacement as they are one in a million.
Course Curriculum Overview
We get educated in 4 different main sectors: Food And Beverage Service, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front office and bakery. The course provides industry-specific knowledge up to the mark with 4 months of Internship in any 5 star hotel in India. There were industrial visits arranged.
Placement Experience
There were various companies like Hyatt, Mariott, ITC and many retail companies like Reliance, Bata, etc.
College Events
There are not many events held in the college apart from the annual day, ethnic day and sports day. Each year, freshers and farewell parties are held in college itself. Apart from that, there are various clubs that arrange various events for the students to participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a government college, the fee structure is quite feasible. There are many modes of payment accepted like DD, online, cash, etc. The college does provide a proper breakdown of fees in college. There is an extra charge for the hostel in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally did not opt for any scholarship in college and I don’t think my colleagues will be offering that.
Campus Life
The campus of IHM B is REALLY SMALL and has no space to loiter around. The gender ratio is uneven with males being more than the females in the college. The college does conduct sports once in a year where people can participate in various kinds of events. There is no discrimination on the basis of caste, sex, race or ethnicity.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of the college is really strong and they come forward to help whenever in need. Since the college has its 50th year, the seniors are always ready to help.
Admission
I had an interest in HM, so did this. IHM Bangalore has an excellent faculty and it is very interesting to attend this course. I applied for NCHMCT JEE via the official website and on bases of AIR i was selected here. I like this institute because if the weather of Bangalore.
Faculty
The institute has almost 25 lecturers with a lot of experience in the respective field. They have a lot of experience in the practical world as well. There are faculties that have completed their PHD which ensures that they are one of the best ones out there. They are polite and courteous.
