Remarks

Overall remark of the institute is positive. However, Some efforts from the institute should be taken for the students who are weak in communication. Some effort should be taken to train the students in Industry point of view.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

In my opinion, courses curriculum is appropriate at this level. Difficulty level of curriculum is also appropriate. Exam structure : Basically, there are two semesters in each acedemic year. Each semester is of about 4 months (including holidays) and 1 month for final semester exam. In each semester, Unit Tests of 20 marks each for each subject are arranged twice and average of their marks is considered for final GPA of semester. Final semester exam consist of oral, practical and written exam. Oral exam is of 10 marks. Practical exam is of 15 marks and written exam consist of written paper of 80 marks. Also, there are separate marks for Term work (journal) which generally ranges between 25 to 50. Final written paper is of 80 marks. It consist of total 6 questions each having weightage of 20 marks. 1st question is compulsory and out of 5 remaining questions, you have to attempt any 3. Each question is again divided into 2 sub questions of 10 marks each.

Placement Experience

4.5

The Training and placement cell of the college is very active and always try to arrange various placement drives by collaborating with industries. About 75-80 % students studying in last year gets placed even before completing their engineering. In case of internships, college provides one month of vacation after the final semester exam. Interested students can do internships in desired industry by taking permission letter from college. Also, some of the internships in industry are provided by the members in T&P cell. As a student of undergraduate course, industries allow internships only of 8 to 15 days and doesn't give any stipend.

College Events

4.5

All the social and religious activities are celebrated in our college with permission of our principal. Moreover, Every department of college organized their seperate events and fun fair. Cultural annual programs are generally arranged in month of February by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is quite feasible. The total fee of the institute is about ?70,000 - ?75,000 and increases by 4-5% every year. Further, for OPEN catagory students, they have to pay full fees and about 40% of fees are refunded by central government. For OBC category students, they have to pay 50% of fees to institute and 50% fees are paid by state government directly to the institute. For SC, ST and NT students, fees are very low i.e. about ? 8000 and remaining fees are paid by state government. Also, exam fees are required to pay differently and it is about ? 1000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute supports the scholarships and promots the students to apply for the scholarships provided by the government. However, one student can avail only one scholarships from the government. Student is allowed to take as many of scholarships from the private organisations or NGO's. Institute offers the 'Student Education loan' with support of Nationalized banks. Interest rate is also low for students.

Campus Life

5

Institute always supports the extra-curricular activities and raise a good fund for same. Institute always expect more innovative ideas from the students. Labs of college are well organised and equipped with all modern equipments. For sports, college has well maintained grounds for various types of sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students and alumni of the institute are always supportive. They help the junior students in all the way from acedemics to extra-curricular activities. Alumnies working in various reputed industries always try to arrange placement drive in institute for their industry. They also support the trainee students from institute for internships.

Admission

I got admitted to this college through entrance exam called 'MHT-CET'. It is one of the entrance exam required for taking admission in undergraduate engineering courses in Maharashtra. Admission process is as follows : 1. Register for MHT-CET exam and appear for the exam. 2. After the declaration of result, register for online admission process on official website. 3. After registration , verify your documents at nearest Facilitation center (FC). 4. Then fill OPTION FORM in which various college name have to be included in which you are interested to take admission. 5. Then based on exam score, a college is allotted. It is your choice to take admission in allotted college or not. There are such 3-4 rounds which are generally called as CAP rounds (Centralized Admission Process) 6. After allotment of college, you have to confirm your decision about admission by visiting ARC center (Application Reporting Center)

Faculty

5

Faculty members of our college are very supportive. Most of the faculty are having experience of more than 10 years. Many of faculty members having industrial background and hence they are capable of delivering practical knowledge as well. Their explaining ability is quite brilliant and they can explain every concept as many times we ask to them.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
