All an all a decent college for studying not sports-oriented at all but good to study

The Degree courses available here are Civil , Electrical, Computer, Chemical ,Mechanical Civil having two shifts while other having one . The exams are conducted according to the AICTE and it is affiliated to the mumbai University having 2 semesters per year

Placement is quite good also depends on the stream you have selected while the training and placement cell has quite good contacts

College Events

The college hosts 2 events yearly one technical and one cultural the technical named as technique and culture called as a milestone. They both are much on a large scale but not upto the mark of an engineering college but yes quite good to enjoy the fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible if u consider any private engineering college you will not feel it as much cause nowadays every engineering college costs away too much so its feasible according to me and as the placement is considered if u are a good student u can easily recover it

Don't know about loan but you get all the government scholarships if you are in backward classes not any type of college scholarships but only available by the government

Well there is no such thing as campus here there is no proper ground here only one tall 11 floor building and another one under construction well labs are well-equipped sports are not paid much attention here didn't see any university playing team in my period

Well they have a good number of big alumnis they held seminars quite a time where students are guided over the current industries

Admission

You can get into the college by giving the Maharashtra CET (Common Entrance Test). Based on these marks you can get admission here. For masters Gate score is considered also u can get through administration quota by donations.After CET there are CAP rounds.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
