Remarks

Shri MD Shah Mahila College is a nice place to pursue a regular course as well as a distance program. Students and people are nice here. I loved the treatment we got here and the assistance offered by such a supportive administration.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good. I received the course material via mail. The course material was very thorough in itself. We never felt any trouble in understanding the topics, apart from some. We even get by with them, with the doubt resolution sessions.

Course Fees: INR 370000 per year

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee was 1800 per course. And as per the curriculum of IGNOU, there are 21 course. So in total, I end up paying around 37k, for the entire course which was not much to be honest. There are examination charges and some other minor expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students have to pay fee as prescribed by the IGNOU. There are very few scholarships available for the students pursuing a distance program. Though the students belonging to SC and ST categories are eligible for the availing a fee concession.

Admission

Admissions are granted on the basis of OPENMAT scores. OPENMAT is an entrance exam organized by IGNOU for admissions to the MBA program. The entrance exam was a basic one and having good command over quants, it was pretty easy for me.

The college provides 100% final placements. The higest package is around 24 lakhs per annum. Average package is 9.56 lakhs per annum. The maximum recruiters are from the Manufacturing sector as they are almost 37% of total recruiters, followed by IT (27%), Consulting (7%), FMCG (4%), etc. Star recruiters are deloitte, Accenture, HDFC Life, Viacom 18, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Nomura, etc. Summer internships also have partial placements., with the highest stipend being around 50000 Rs per month.
