Remarks

College is pretty good academically. Could even be tagged as one of the best ones in the region. But the fee itself can make it non-feasible for a lot of students who can't afford such a whopping cost for the program. Campus life and faculty made my 5 years pass by like a movie.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum was pretty updated and had a diverse curriculum coverage. Most of our teaching was practical oriented and would take place in labs or the medical hospital which was associated with the college. The course made me competent enough not to successfully operate someone but to connect with them at a deeper level and make them comfortable.

College Events

4.5

Innumerable conferences and seminars are held in our college during the course session. Festive celebrations, field visits, cultural fests, etc. are also organised by our college in order to keep the students engaged and stress free from the hectic course curriculum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My first year fee was around 14 lacs which is not feasible for any program. I paid my fee with the help of the student loan which was facilitated by my good NEET scores. The entire course costed me around 64 lacs.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are also provided by the college Hostel rooms are in close proximity to the college and hospital. The hostel fee is payable at the time of admission. Hostel rooms are very well furnished and hygienic. overall my stay in the hostel was pretty convenient.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of the merit list, which is based on the NEET rankings. My NEET rank was very good, that's why I was eligible for many medical colleges but I opted for this one because it was closest to my house.

Faculty

5

Faculty was pretty talented and they all were well versed with their area of specialization. They had a plethora of experience under their belt. The course structure was very explained by the faculty members, infusing their personal experience in the teaching experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
