As I said IIT's have one of the best labs in country for research and study purpose and provide great focus on extra-curricular activites and sports. As mentioned we have various cultural and sports clubs like photography club videograph club dance club debate club astronomy club music club etc and almost every sports including cricket football basketball squash boxing weight lifting judo karate TT etc which provides a great exposure to students studying here.

I am currently pursuing my Batchelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. In this course we have 8 semester, 2 semester in each year, so total of 4 years. Each semester have one mid sem exam and one end sem exam

Placement and package of my college vary from branch to branch. Computer science and engineering students gets jobs in many biggest companies like Amazon Flipkart Adobe Samsung with mouth watering packages while students of my branch that is Mechanical Engineering struggle to get jobs seeing the recession in manufacturing and production of various products.

college life in IIT's is full of fun. We have various fests conducted by various departments of colleges. We have various cultural and sports club which allows one to explore themselves. We have one Alumni meet each year, one cultural fest, one technical fest, one sports gear conducted each year.

Fee Structure of all IIT's are almost similar. Tuition fees for a general student is 1 lakh per semester and about 17-30 thousand for hostel and mess free per semester varying from college to college. The free is feasible according to me as we have various scholarship for students whose parents' annual income is below some set value. I won't say it's expensive after seeing the facilities which college offer. Nevertheless it's cheaper than medical.

As I already mentioned our college provide scholarship known as MCM which is provided by government to those students whose parents'annual income is less than I guess 6 lakh per annum. One should provide sufficient proof and sign on stamp paper signed by patwari of their region.

Recently my college have celebrated 93 foundation day. Being one the oldest and pioneer science college dedicated to earth science branches we have great alumni contact. Alumni of my college are at very high post on mining companies.

By Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advance which is given by approx 1.5 lakh students which already have qualified the Joint Entrance Exam Mains which is given by 16lakh students. Then we choose our college (IIT) and branch according to rank we obtained in JEE Advanced.

Obviously being a professor of one of the most prestigious college Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) faculty are among the finest brains of the world. But this doesn't means they are finest teacher of world, means some of them are not good in teaching.
