Remarks
As our college is old so the infrastructure of the college is not modern but still renovation is going on.The hostels should be given proper attention.College should arrange industrial tour for every department every year.The library facilities of our college is really very good but the library should be air conditioned.
Course Curriculum Overview
Till 2019 it was affiliated to MAKAUT but now the college is autonomous so lots of rules and regulations changed.In our time we have 2 class test examination per semester.The class test marks is carry forwarded to the final result so try to score well.
Placement Experience
The placement is very much dependent upon the market condition.In our time the market conditions were quite good so we get decent number of opportunities.More or less 30 companies(not exact count) have given opportunity for our branch in which maximum were software and marketing companies like INFOSYS,WIPRO,IBM,TCS,CALGEMINI,COGNIGENT,BYJUS,EXTRAMARKS,VEDANTU etc.Some core companies also gave opportunity like HPL,PCBL, YOKOGAWA, JOHNSON CONTROLS, MEGHALAYA CEMENTS,BENGAL TOOLS,CESC etc.Some logistics companies also came.Overall package is around 3.5lpa for software, marketing companies offers highers packages around 5-6 lpa.Core companies offers around 4lpa or higher.
College Events
We have lots of events happening around the year.Our techfest PRAYUKTI is the largest among them.Our alumni meet RETRACE is also an important event for us.Except that we celebrate several cultural competetions and finctions like Aspicious Paradigm,Cultural meet,Holi celebrations and lots more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very much feasable of around 4lakh.For the bright students scholarship is provided also.You can also get scholarship from Makaut in TFW scheme.The semester fees will be around 60k to 40k and it will very per semester wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by the college for the topper of every branch.Except that you can apply for the scholarship if your financial condition is very weak but it is not always approved.Rather than several other organisations also offers scholarship check it in college website.You can avail loan facility from any bank.
Campus Life
We have Sports day every year there everyone can participate.As I have told earlier a huge number of cultural events,techfests,workshops,seminers happens every day.So if you are interested no one can stop you to enjoy these things.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted for the hostel.But the hostel facilities is not upto the mark.It should be better.But it is also not too bad its ok ok type.The hostel food is not moderate to bad.You have to manage your own food from outside.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has very well alumni network.Most of the time our college get several excellent opportunities from them which benefit the students.Each year in December alumni meet happens.All our seniors are very much helpful.Keep good connection with them for guidance.
Admission
In WBJEE I have secured around 15k.During choice filling I have filled for the AEIE branch in HIT.So in the 3rd round of counselling I have got that branch and I have got the admission date from college.In between the given date I have visited the college and completd my admission procedure.
Faculty
Faculties are all very helpful in nature.You have to take the maximum out of them and they are always ready to help.Follow the class notes and assignments because they are very much important for exams.You can reach anytime to them for help.
