Quality Education

Overall college is best, but regarding fees and hostel mess its rating gets down to 8.

I scored 56 marks in IIT JEE, as i was under hindi minority it was quite easy for me to get admitted into a well settled college of mumbai and as per my interest in information technology, i opted for it feild in tcet, mumbai.

Our college is able to maintain its quality by providing best infrastructure, well settled laboratories and quality of faculty members, as per completion of course sometimes they lag behind because of making every student understand.

Many local companies and international companies such as ibm, tcs are offering internships to students who are eligible to work. general stipend is about 4-5k.

Our college provide placements in best of companies such as infosys, accenture, tcs, oracle, ibm etc. average package offered is about 4-5 lakhs.

Zephyr and tcet mun are main college events which are hosted by our college. they are well hosted and i felt quite good to participate in events. many food outlets are settled during festivals for promotions.

Its quite feasible, but on comparing with colleges out of mumbai its bit costly, its about 1,26,000 for general category 27k for j&k students 65k for obc, sc &st. Its partial with general students they have to pay 4 times of j&k students.

Many scholarship schemes are available with our college. Currently tata is also providing scholarships to eligible students who have scored 9 and above pointer and college is eligible for many national scholarships like minority and all.

College campus is well maintained and modern infra. with pure veg canteen. many sports events are held during academics to build sportsmanship into a student, debates are held on regular basis with best decisions

College provide a good hostel facility but there is no mess so its worst for hostelites to eat street food everyday its good for health and not pocket friendly as well. overall i'd rate 7/10.

Seniors are quite helpfull and friendly with juniors. no case of ragging is registered uptil now. One of our senior even got package worth rs 33 lakhs from world tech japan through college.

Two internal exams are held in a gap of a month, those are ok but college timings are 9:15-5:15 thats quite longer duration, so it is a hectic schedule for all of students
