Remarks

Very nice and largest college in Purba Medinipur is best rural college in West Bengal. Now it is an autonomous college with good infrastructure. Almost all type of stream available here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is interesting to learn the new things. Teachers are also kind to us. They teach us all the syllabus in the simplest way. On each chapter they they had taken an internal examination. Annually exam were held including practical examination.

I have been given the Online application, then merit list declared for the qualified student, then fees deposited to the bank by challan for the admission, then original documents verified in the college administration office.

College campus are good with study environment. Our college A grade college by NAAC. Moder facilitied laboratory. New updated syllabus. College canteen. Hygienic toilet. Portable drinking watter. Availability to choose the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
