Remarks

Not at all a good college, no placements. Lot of fake promises they do. Worst management.

Entrance Preview

Took mechanical stream. As it always fascinated me. I got admission through management seat and an interview. I was too late to apply for best colleges so had to compromise on this.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college comes under Punjab Technical University. So the curriculum is all same in all. PTU affiliated colleges in Punjab. Hard work and also smart work is needed to get good grades.

Internships Opportunities

Did training in HMT pinjore, no stipend. Infact we had to pay them to get trained.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placement. Nothing College is a waste when it comes to placement. No one from mechanical branch got placed, even students scoring 80% did not get placed. It's horrible.

College Events

Not much, but yeah we had cultural fest, just since bhangra and songs and jokes. Not so grand. We have sports event. It's like who ever wants can run in whatever the are wearing. Nothing is so grand. They do it all for formality.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think they give an scholarship. Even if they do, i never got. They must have scholarship. One of my class mate got it.

Exam Structure

It's according to semester 6 months. Around 10 to 14 subjects depending on semester your in. Have to work your ass off to clear in exams. Labs, forget about practical, it's all theory.

As far as i see most of my seniors are well placed from our university some of them are in plum , google and very know companies as the placement of the college is better than other college , mostly every student get a placemnet .

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

It gives excellent placement offers with around 270 companies visits. The highest package for 2025 passng batch is 54LPA with a average package of 10 to 12 LPA. Top companies like google , apple ,microsoft,amzon ,Barclays ,deloitte and many more offers in thapar.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.
