Remarks

It is good to do btech in computer science from this college if you are serious about your carrier then definitely you will get good job. If you are sports person and you you love sports activities then this college is not for u, as here there is no playground.

3.5

In dit university I am doing electrical engineering ,I selected this course as it was my dream to do govt jobs and I love the course structure it is too intresting as u got know about new thing which were seeing but u know about them.

For the placement I must say it good for computer science ,most of companies visited to college are of computer like infosis , wipro and many others recently HP came for recruitment ,so if u have talent then easily you will get placed in good company. For internship college provide no internship.

Campus Life

4

For the extracurricular activities like sports I feel like that it is not good as no initiative is taken from college side for student in college campus there is no proper playground so that we can spend time in sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpfull ,as when we want notes then we directly contact to our senior and no doubtly they help us and also tell us about how get good marks in exams. And alumni are also help full as when we want internship in our summer then they help us to get it.

Admission

I filled the application form after few days they approved my form and they given me few dates and said come on these dates for counciling I went there along with my draft money of 15000 which I have to submit during my registration and this way I completed my registration.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of this college is very supportive they always support you where u want and the method of teaching of faculty is good and as some are not good In my point of view, every one has different opinion.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
