Barch graduate

Positive is that we have a good team of faculties to guide us. And we conduct many programs other than academics. Negative is that we don't have that much good infrastructure and modern facilities in college.

In my period the curriculum was 2013 scheme (Kerala University) and it was very easy and student friendly scheme. But now it changed to KTU so I don't how it was. The exam structure was we had both design sections and theory section. The design section carrying more weightage of marks. Theory according to the subjects. It was also having case studies and documentations.

We don't have placememts. But in our curriculum it offers internship during the course itself. The stipend is according to the firm that we get in. Some firm's providing stipends and accommodation facilities. But some don't providing accommodation.

We have RITI our department fest and also having jeromian fest its the fest by the whole college. Also we have NASA and other architecture fest participations from our college. We also conducting workshops and speeches about architecture.

It's littile bit expensive as compared to others. In our time the fee structure was 1.5 lakh per year without food and accommodation. The hostel fee and bus fare charged extra. This course is also expensive because the equipments and materials for study is costly.

There is no scholorship facilities in our college. And they have no there own loan facility in college but if we have some bank support and a loan availability then we can apply directly to college.

I don't think that extracurricular activities in our college have that much support nad opportunity. We have sports day, arts fest and lab facilities as like normal colleges but it don't think its up to an average

We have both boys hostel and girls hostel. The boys hostel it in the campus itself. And the girls hostel was in out of campus. I didnt stayed in college hostel so I don't know that much about the fee structure.

Our college don't have that much alumnis. It has only 8 years of students only 3 batches where passed out. We have alumnis but its had only few. So I don't know how much it helpful to us. If it grows to years like this. may be it will be helpful

First I wrote Nata Entrance Exam. After I got my Nata Score card, I applied to BISHOP JEROME college merit list. They published there rank list and conduct an walk in interview. After all this I got a seat there.

Our college was under Jerome foundation so it little strict, but most of the faculties where friendly, helpful and good in mentoring. We also have visiting faculties who where practicing in architecture successfully. It also helping students to know about the profession.
