Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is okay but it can be improved.Exam structures are some times worst because don't get enough time to prepare well for exams,gaps between exams are more for some exams and less for some others

Placement Experience

Our college is conducting so many placement drives. There are lot of IT companies coming here and good number of students are getting placements.Indian navy has also came for recruiting students for SSB

College Events

There are mainly three events celebrated in our college 1 Anual technical fest 2 Prathithya (college level cultural fest) 3 Nakshatra (national level techno-cultural fest) Other national level conferences are also conducted in our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me the fee is around 75000 per anum(slightly varies) since I'm in merit seat and it is about 150000 for managment quota seat and 200000 for NRI quota seat. And 10000 rupees has to be paid for one time as a caution deposit which can be take back after completing the course

Fees and Financial Aid

my College offer 25000 fee waiver per anum for students students scored greater than 85%(for physics chemistry and maths subjects) marks for 12th examination and also helps for getting other government scholarships also

Campus Life

Our college have a good lab facility there are so many machines and devices available in our college. Which give the students a good technical knowledge and hand on experience on different industrial equipments

Our college has good alumini network. There is a governing board consists of alumini members,they give a valuable informations about current industrial trends and they also help for getting internship,placements etc

Admission

I got admission in saintgits college of engineering through Kerala entrance examination. I applied for this college through online allotment process and I got admission here according to my KEAM rank.And I paid the fees by visiting college and secured me admission

Faculty

Facilities in my college are good.they sincerely help us for curricular activities as well as co curricular activities. The faculties are so friendly in nature and some times strict too. They promote us for studies and other co curricular activities

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
