Remarks

I can give only positive remark on my college. It’s fun it’s good in academic point of view. No ragging which is now common in most of the ug colleges which is responsible for suicides. Infrastructure is also nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

If you are interested in medicine and this field only then take it up. Coarse is amazing you will get to learn about your own body isn’t that amazing? Talking about the exams all medical colleges in Karnataka are under rguhs(Rajeev Gandhi university of health science) so exam papers will be the same throughout all the medical colleges( except deemed university). Exams is conducted once in a year with three internals in between

Placement Experience

4.5

Yea KIMS provide internship. After mbbs at KIMS most of them continue their pg in the same college and might as well practice at the same hospital. Here we get a lot of clinical exposure so there is no problem of finding jobs later. First of all in India many of the doctors overwork because there are not enough doctors so there absolutely no problem of finding a job

College Events

4.5

There is sports day which includes almost all kind of sports that’s possible to conduct. Culturals day is the day that every KIMS student wait for. There will series of events at least for a week with various different competitions and then the final culturals night will be lit. Various education related programs. Literary fest which includes MUN, poster and case presentation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Government seat-1-1.5lakh/annum Private seat 6-7lakh /annum It’s definitely feasible if you get a government seat for which the only way is to get high score in the neet exam. If not private seat is also not that expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such things are available from college side. But for the gold medallists only there will be cash prize. For scst candidates the course is completely free. There are different exams available online which could fetch u scholarship

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities I should talk about. We have a co-curricular activities club which include Dance, singing, theatre, arts, photography, debate. I have mentioned already about all the programs conducted above

Hostel Facilities

4

I have not opted for hostel but according to my friends opinion it is amazing. There is no problem of food. Rooms and washrooms are clean. The dishes in the hostel mess is to be decided by students. Monthly one of them take responsibility so there would not be any problem of food since the menu is decided by us

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. All the alumni of KIMS are doing well in life. Few of them are practising in the same hospital so they are easily approachable and they are definitely helpful since they have lived our life and situations.

Admission

It is a medical college hence neet exam is the only way to enter into the college. If one is qualified In neet and has high enough marks you can get a government seat if not it will be private seat for which prizes are high

Faculty

4.5

At KIMS all the faculties are easily approachable. They use both blackboard and ppts for teaching which helps in better understanding. They try their best to give out the best for the students. They also help students to handle the stressful situation during exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
